Well Mr. McClaren got off to a mixed start. Derby were 4-1 down at home at half time but pulled it back to 4-4.

How is @super_ram feeling tonight? I hope he didn't switch the radio off at half time.

Was watching the Soccer Special on Sky Sports - could hear a lot of dissatisfied groans and boos come half time at 4-1, and it looked like a few made an early exit. Hell of a comeback though. super_ram has mentioned before that the rams need to start taking the many chances they create, well they chose a good time to do it! Just a shame the defence was a bit jittery

I didn't like the starting line up and formation-4-2-4.Midfield too lightweight, leading to pressure on defense.I always feel that we can score, and we did only to give a 3rd goal away.Darren Wassall was officially in charge but I can't help feeling this was all a bit stage managed or am I being Cynical.Paul Simpson and other members of the new coaching staff joined Darren Wassall on the touchline before halftime and then changes were made .Steve McClaren went into the home dressing room at half time and gave advice and encouragement apparently.Rams give a tremendous second half performance with Ipswich having 6 players booked and 4-4 is the final score.I can't help feeling that this was a match Derby should have won with the right team picked from the start.I am looking forward to seeing what team is picked against Leeds on Saturday.Having said all that-WHAT A COME BACK!

Oooooo.... Ipswich didn't half pick up some cards! 5 yellows, I'm surprised they kept 11 men on the field but impressive football shown by Derby with the fact they came back into the game. I don't think McClaren will know the squad, so it's going to take him time to find a suitable formation and of course starting 11. I am sure after tonight he will know who Derby's better players are, though it's nice to see Bryson and Ward getting on the score sheet.

The fact Super Ram is excited about something, says all for me!

I've stated somewhere else on the site that I will reserve judgement until Christmas.Any Derby fan would have selected a different starting line up today but at least the correct changes were made. The new centreIhalf did ok too.If Mr McClaren and the other coaching staff can sort out our defense then I really will start to get excited.

Craig Bryson has really impressed me this season.

Super_ram, I have Lee Grant in my fantasy football team. Any chance he gets dropped? I think Derby will turn it around so I think I'll keep him if he's number 1.

Without Lee Grant Derby would probably have an even leakier defense,Dripsey3.Yes Craig Bryson very impressive this season.Good luck with your fantasy football team.
