What line-up should Neal Ardley opt for? What will be the key areas for the Magpies to get a victory? What do you think the final score will be?

Lineup: Exactly the same against Bury.

Oldham come back after a 4-1 win I believe so there spirits will be high. However so will ours. If Duffy remains in the side then I would suggest dropping Stead for Hemmings. Hemmings and Dennis could cause some real issues and playing as a pair up top is the strike force everyone wants to see.

I hope the Bury performance is a turn around in our fortunes and we can grab a win here. If not then at least a draw or a clean sheet. Just something other than a loss so than we can have something to carry through into the Colchester and Cambridge games.

Same team, same intensity, same shape. But just add a goal or two. I beg we don't just roll over like we always do away from home

If changes can be avoided I would, hopefully Kane Hemming and Jamie Turley will be available for selection (both I'm told are injured). Notts needs to put in a good away performance, at the very least battle.

Hopefully we can get another point or 3.

Hope turley is available along with hemmings... Please remove duffy from the line up.

we all would want duffy gone but he did okay, i do feel pierce bird in the middle with ward and turley both sides would strengthen this back 3 formation. whats happen to ward? him and turley cannot of both got injured at the same time.

i think the club might be seeing who they can release without coughing up more money but ward and turley are better than brisley and duffy.

Get a win and it could be enough to start to push back out of the relegation, I'm sorry but a draw here and there is a good thing. It isn't something to be relied upon.

So after the 0-0 draw with Bury Notts will be confident coming in to this game. I don’t think they will be over confident. Neal will keep their feet on the ground.

I think notts will attack this game like the Bury game with confidence and a bond in the squad that I hadn’t noticed until Neal arrived. They need to be defensive, work as a team. The defence has to do there part and play as one. The midfield need to pass to the strikers with accuracy and confidence. The strikers need those balls in to area. And no hangovers from the news years eve .. only joking 😂

Just carry on from where they left off v Bury.Every single player has to concentrate for 90+ minutes, pass to  Notts players, tackle as if their life depends on it and put in 100% effort.

I hope and expect us to pick up where we left off against Bury. It's important we play the same 11 if possible - everyone did a good job in our last game, and we really need to find a settled first 11 instead of all the constant chopping and changing.

Speechless... 🤷🏻‍♂️

Another red card? It's not good but Neal Ardley must get better from this squad away from home. I'm not surprised, Oldham are much better than what some thought.

I will be interested to see and read people's reactions.

Getting sent off for two bookable offences when you only came on as a half-time sub is indefensible, I don't think we'll be seeing him again. I hope Tootle is fit again against Colchester.

We started well and Bird was unlucky not to score, but as the first half wore on Oldham pushed us deeper and deeper. The first goal was a complete fluke, the second the Notts speciality where everyone stands still and watches a cross sail into the box. We were always up against it after that and we never managed to sustain any pressure at all. Next...

Well back to back strong performances seem to be beyond us it seems, hoped for a better away day after what was a terrific performance against Bury , but not to be , had some misfortune must be said , it’s true you make your own , maybe if we were going well Bird scores and that fluke doesn’t go in , nothing Changes bottom teams today didn’t do well best was Macclesfield getting a point , January is still massive, that’s not changed really has it ? A game less now , hope NA proves to be the magician we hoped .
