George Moncur

Featured Replies

Rumour on twitter that Notts are about to sign George Moncur from West Ham, a ball playing hard tackling central midfielder.

Sounds good.

The name rings a bell, upon checking it confirms a vague memory. He played for AFC Wimbledon and I believe during their cup performance featured on ITV, he was one of their better players and mentioned to be a relation of a former player.

We need signings, though it's concerning it appears to be all kids.

Pace is a good thing, though experience on the field would be nice. Plenty of players available on loan, probably would cost us more tho..

A field where dreams become reality.

He sounds like he is straight out of the Derry, Harding mould. I can definitely see the attraction for SD. Yes please, should nicely seal Fotheringhams fate, TAXI !!!!

He tweeted that he was in Nottingham yesterday but that could be a complete coincidence of course.

Time will tell, Tony, we do need a player like that. If he does come in then and adds that bit of steel with discipline, then fandabidosy, beaky mick and titch.
