I have a feeling they will win 2-0, I’m very nervous.

im hoping its not called off, their ground is awful for flooding and if there is more bad weather it could’ve easily happen.

notts needs to avoid a back log of fixtures.

I feel confident to be honest, Hartlepool do well when there midfield is given time to use the ball. Provided O’Brien and whoever plays alongside him doesn’t get pinned back Notts should do fine.

Im hoping for a good result.

Hartlepool is a good away day.

Not the best ground to visit but I think this squad should do just fine there. They like to play their football on the floor, so this should suite us also.

Posted

Notts has to get back to winning ways, but I can see this ending up as a draw. Hartlepool are a good side on their day, if Notts goes to prove a point they might struggle but they could make us have a nightmare too.

It should be a fairly open game.

I feel less confident when Notts travels to Hartlepool, they always seem to beat Notts or pull off an incredible come back.

Depends who’s fit really. I worry Lacey is missing and I think the keeper has a silly mistake in him with the ball at his feet. Would love to be positive but can’t see it happening for us tomorrow and with the massive fixture list coming up I’m seriously worried about the run in too.

We've got to go into this one with a more positive mindset then the one against Woking and Dover. Don't be afraid to run at the opposition and push forward in numbers. When Enzio and Roberts ran at Woking's defence, it got them on the back foot,.

Our decision making in both areas of the pitch has to be better. We have to be quicker passing the ball and quicker with our decision making. We need to get it to our danger men faster. More link up play like the one that created the Wootton and O'Brien chances.

I've seen that Dave Challinor said that we didn't play well against Woking and that they should have won. Whilst I agree I don't think we played that great, did he not see the two chances we had through Wootton and O'Brien in the 1st half which would have put us 2-0 up. Not just these chances but the Callum Roberts miss in the second half. This, to me, seems like a way of aggravating us a bit

Defensively, we should try to exploit them at the back because they can struggle if pressured.

Allow their midfield time on the ball, they'll work hard and create chances. If we write them off, they'll teach Notts a lesson. I highly rate some of their players, they build around young talent and can do well.

I remember Notts being 2-0 up, seeing fans say how poor they're and I warned that they can break down teams/fight back. I think it ended up a draw.

Wootton will be useful, pace is required and our midfield needs to have a top performance to get something.

Think another set back will happen, if Notts don't close the ranks on them I think we'll lose.

Winning at their ground would make a change.

Posted

God help if Notts lost tomorrow, there would be a massive meltdown and those who want Ardley out speaking up again.

Posted

Today notts really need to play their potential because we tend to lose at their ground.

Posted

Not a good result today but was kind of expected. Moving forwards is the best option.

Posted

Worst possible result and it looks like the call about a meltdown was spot on.

Another day Notts could have won.

Neal Ardley just needs to demand better from players during the games, as its a poor display not to give them a game. I just want to see 100% given and I wonder how many can say they did that.

I'm really not one to gloat, but the writing was on the wall.

Notts needs to learn how to gain ground and stop being pushed back, it sounded like our tactics were weak and played into their hands. I'm not surprised we didn't win, I do feel the performance could have been better though.

Playoffs look a long way off, but I always thought this would be a difficult season. The longer we are in it, the harder it will be to get out, we are seen as a scalp.

Very poor display from Notts, the squad looked clueless on the pitch and lack any sort of game plan.

The new keeper and the CB had a nightmare of a game.

It's hard to just blame them, the whole squad just played very poorly.

Posted

Awful result but what can you do about it now? Hartlepool are a good side, they played better. Notts needs to match teams because no side should make us look small in this league had 100% been given.

Posted

Poor result but only because it seems Notts never got going, I don't know how much the weather impacted this but I thought Notts would have done better.

We can't be too disheartened.

think its a matter of trying to start some good form, confidence is up and down at the moment. i dont think its unrealistic to think we can make the playoffs, but if the poor performances continue it will become naturally hard.

Yes agreed, I just think with the up an down way we are at the moment, they are a long way off, but as you say, not out of the question

Sounds like a depressing day for us. To be honest I feared the worst when I saw the line-up. The calls for the manager's head were predictable, but what's the point in losing our heads now? We're still in a ply-off spot. Let's dust ourselves down and move on.

We need to move forward regardless, we can get past this. Just think its not last season.
