Slocombe 5.5  a slight unease continues with his performances but did produce a match winning save, distribution poor, thought it needs to be quicker

Cameron 6.5 well taken header from the corner. Fouled in build up to Aldershot's 2nd

Lacey 6 So good to see him back. Marked down for passing opportunities lost

Brindley 6 Look assured moving forward, but was withdrawn at halftime following a knock

DKE 6 Energised as usual, though offensive work seemed muted

Taylor 5 Nothing seemed to go right for him

JOB 6 So many forward runs breaking through Aldershot's lines went with passes not spotted

Palmer 6.5 Quiet worker but keeps things ticking

Ruben 6 Caught in possession a lot during the 1st half, better 2nd

Wootton 6.5 Goal a game, that will do

Roberts 6.5 Match winner!!!

I think Palmer deserves a 7, along with Roberts.

Taylor was fine, nothing special, but he did a lot of groundwork. Defensively, perhaps he could do better at times.

Lacey was superb with his passing, especially those quality pinpoint long balls.

Cameron is good, but he forgets to defend at times and can be a little greedy on the ball. Twice Aldershot pressed him into making mistakes and these could've cost us.

Slocombe is having a difficult time with protection, although the pile up and his quick reactions were a positive sign.

He also single-handedly saved us from conceding with some dodgy play beforehand, where the ball was kicked out of his hands - clear as day! Yet he had to put in a well-timed challenge to prevent him from conceding a goal where, defensively, Notts was extremely poor.

A fan I spoke to on Saturday feels a lot of fans are finding him to be a scapegoat/someone to blame, which is how I feel having read some trashy comments on social media. It seems to be spreading into other peoples judgement, as there was a lot of quality at times shown by Slocombe in the Aldershot game - yet he barely gets mentioned for anything positive right now.

Slocombe 6.5  No mistake, produced some very good reflex saves.

Cameron 6.5 Pushed for their goal, but not necessary to get so close as the last man. Great header for the goal.

Lacey 7 Lovely to see him back. Elegant CB.

Brindley 6 Was OK.

DKE 6 Sometimes gets caught out of position.

Taylor 6

JOB 6 Tried a lot but didn't really come off, passing a bit wayward.

Palmer 6 Some passes a bit off at times.

Ruben 6.5 Always a danger.

Wootton 6.5 Goal.

Roberts 6.5 Flattered to deceive until 2nd half.
