Do we have any quiz masters here? or, just anyone who enjoys a good quiz?

I know @super_ram would fall within this category, as we both enjoy taking on the pub quiz machines and, used to play various quiz games.

I used to take part in pub quizzes a few years ago, but not anymore. I found that they were becoming a bit too competitive after they were only originally done for fun. We used to win our fair share back in the day, but then you started to see serious teams forming just to win the (not that generous) prizes, so we gave up as it stopped being fun.

One year, our team took the title of Cheltenham Inter Pub champions... especially tough when teams have GCHQ brain boxes... Just do the occasional charity quiz nights now, for hospices and blood cancer charities

I was on quiz shows on the TV in Ireland. Won a trip to Paris on one of them. Those were good days!

I like quizzes but I can't stand when people take them to seriously.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

i think if you are with people who can laugh and not take it to seriously, then quizzes can be great fun. even if other teams go over the top with them, a group laughing together can distract that. on my own i like having a go, but prefer them with others.

A good quiz can be good fun, I like doing some of the ones you find online. Like answering questions from your favourite film. :thumbsup:
