How to get to Meadow Lane
Notts County's stadium, Meadow Lane, is located just south of Nottingham Rail station and about 30 minutes' walk from the city centre. The stadium lies very close to Nottingham Forest’s City Ground, with only the river Trent separating the two.
By train:
Meadow Lane is a 10-15 minute walk away from Nottingham railway station. As you come out of the main station entrance, Turn left from the station across the car park and then turn right at the traffic lights. The ground is about a quarter of a mile down the dual carriageway on the left.
By car:
Coming from the M1 (west or south): Take exit 24 and get on the A453 towards West Bridgford and Wilford. Continue following the signs for Wilford on the B679 until you arrive at a crossroads with the A60, and join the A60 north. The A60 runs past the stadium. Turn right just after the bridge over the river Trent.
Coming from the M1 north: Take exit 24 and make your way to the city centre and subsequently the A60. Follow the A60 south and turn left onto Cattle Market Road, a few hundred metres after having crossed the bridge over the railroad tracks.
Parking:
Parking is available at the Cattle Market (opposite the away end) or at Nottingham City Council's Eastcroft depot (NG2 3AH). The depot is a five-minute walk from Meadow Lane, located just off London Road (A60), opposite Hooters. The entrance is signposted with banners and is manned by security guards throughout the match. Otherwise, there is some street parking, but this fills up quite quickly.
Bus:
From Nottingham, get on any outbound NCTX (going away from the City Centre), any number between 1 to 4 (buses are navy coloured)* or 5 to 12 (green) will pass Trent Bridge - you must get off at the stop just before the bridge, then you turn to face the way you came from and walk down to the traffic lights by another smaller bridge over a canal. Cross that smaller bridge and you'll see Meadow Lane.
* Do NOT get the 48. This does not go past Trent Bridge.
Airport:
From East Midlands Airport, you can either get the Skylink to Nottingham (refer to “bus” once in the city) or, if you’re driving, follow Ashby Road up until the main roundabout and take the exit onto the A453 to Nottingham. Follow the road straight on until you get to Clifton Bridge, then take the left-hand exit before the bridge and take the left exit at the roundabout. By this point the road signs should be saying “West Bridgford”, “Trent Bridge”, “football traffic” and so on. Keep travelling down Wilford Lane and you will get to a t-junction. Turn left and you will be on Loughborough Road. Cross Trent Bridge, turn right and you will be on Meadow Lane, where the stadium stands.
Note: There is no train station from the airport. To find out things to do whilst in Nottingham, or just to make the most of your visit to Meadow lane - check out 'Making the most of Meadow Lane'.
