I can't help but notice how much more professional and physically fit the referees in this clip appear to be. Why is this the thought that I am taking away from it?

Well, we now have Dan Gosling and I think the club will be looking at extending his stay come January. I don't personally see us adding another midfielder if Gosling does the trick, unless he leaves for a club higher up when his short term deal expires. The interesting thing is that it's a 2-month deal, it's almost like we have said - we'll give you football now, and we can discuss long-term wages in January. Here's something just to get you back into playing regularly. The Irish league has sort of become a buzzword since we were linked with Conor Keeley.

Seeing Mark Hughes manage a League Two team seemed weird, but on paper it looked good. They need to bring in someone who is good at managing in difficult circumstances, whilst keeping a tight-knit squad. Bradford really should be doing better, as they do have a decent squad in my opinion. Hopefully, things will improve for them in time.

@Fan of Big Tone Piethagoram has shared many interesting pictures and stories about forgotten parts of Nottingham. I don't know of most, as they were before my time, but I find it interesting. I actually didn't know Nottingham had multiple train stations until a previous post some time ago. To me, it makes Nottingham feel much smaller to only have one main station, especially in comparison to other cities. That said, I only know one main station in Derby and Leicester - I am not sure if they have any others. Birmingham on the other hand has so many. It can be a bit overwhelming when you travel there for the first time. Back on topic, I love reading and seeing old pictures of Nottingham!

@DangerousSausage I'm not saying this because I didn't go, but I don't blame people for choosing not to attend the opening round. The football season is a long period of time and, for those with families, the dedication which comes to league games - does bring the temptation to do something different when additional costs come up. I think if we are to be fair, comparing this to the FA Trophy it's not that bad. Our recent form and injuries may have been a contributing factor, but even with such high attendances in the league we need to remember that our actual fanbase is only so large.

I liked Vadane Oliver. He looked like a decent player and in comparison to Kairo Mitchell who was absolutely useless.

He was tiped to do well, quite highly thought of but it shows how sometimes football doesn't quite work out. At least he had one season with Hibs, which could have been the turning point in his career.

He is, but he only has himself to blame. He left us for a club where he didn't even fight to get into their starting selection. Unfortunately, he's one of those people who feel he should be selected regardless of his contributions and, if this doesn't happen, he ends up asking to be transfer listed or released. I am a bit surprised, but I would suspect other clubs in the National League and more established teams will have done their homework better. If he doesn't get into their team, or even do well. It will confirm something is majority off with him in terms of his attitude off the field. I doubt it. A 27-year-old winger, who barely played for his previous club, isn't exactly the type of grand signing any ambitious team would make IMO. I am also of the belief that they could if they wanted sign better players if this were the case. I liked Dion Kelly-Evans at Notts, I thought he was a player that tried and gave 100%, but he had a cult like following amongst our fans.

Boca were very frustrating and poor to watch; they wasted so much time with repeated and predictable decisions. The complete opposite to "trying to walk the ball into the net". John Kennedy will be off to a Spanish or Italian club I suspect, at just 21-years-old he has the world right now at his feet. PSG could also be tempted to try and lure him. He reminded me of the appearance (less the hair) of Genaro Snijders.

There's little obligation for fans to attend cup games, especially when we previously pulled out of the qualifying stages previously in order to focus on the league. Crawley were never going to come to Meadow Lane in big numbers. Yet, 4,000 isn't that bad. I imagine I wasn't the only season ticket holder who didn't attend, and it's not about money but having a day off from football. Most people would consider the league to be far more important.

It's a good signing, one which has the potential to be extended. It is very similar to John Bostock's arrival and if we can keep him it would help massively with losing Matt Palmer to injury. We'll have to see how he does, but he does bring a lot of quality, and it says a lot about our recruitment.

I am pleased Notts secured the victory, I love the FA Cup and all it's tradition. In the National League my preference was just focusing on the league, but now a Football League club I feel it's far more important we take it serious. We have the squad to continue to do well and secure an automatic position. Even, if the worst happens, we won't be relegated and I think the playoffs is the lowest we can end up. I don't know how we played exactly against Crawley Town, I didn't go to the game but I have read many comments. Most seem to be delighted and eavger to see us continue as we are.

He's showing a lot of signs of trying to self sooth. I actually reckon he's trying to hold back, the folded arms are a sign of confrontation but also reservation. The licking of his lips would say he's trying to self sooth and hold back. Being mindful that he could say far more. The looking away with swift glances and quick replies would say he wanted to get the interview over and done with ASAP. I don't know how his side did, but responses like this will either result in his departure from the club or to get a better response from the players. Personally, I'm judging his closed demeanour and think he's under pressure. It's a very funny interview, but you also have to feel for a manager that expects more from the players. This is the reaction of someone who cares about his job, his role and club.

This is good news, I remember reading about Football Radar being in quite a lot of demand in the UK and in certain European countries. It's clearly working out with turning over a profit. -- @Piethagoram Did you hear the gossip last season about the company being in debt and having to lay off staff? I had people trying to convince me this was true, which a simple lookup would say differently with terms to the debt. It wasn't fans of other clubs, it was ours and some really should have known better. This is why I tend not to pay too much attention until facts can be checked.

He seems to be doing alright for them, I thought he had packed in a few years back but looking at his Wiki I couldn't be any more wrong. His goal against Liverpool will always be something I remember, despite his short stint at Notts.

They are frequently prone to damage. Kyle Walker recently did this in frustration, by kicking one which caused damage to the screen. There's nothing more annoying than a clicking screen or dead pixels on an advertising board. If we were a much bigger position, say the Championship I think it would make a lot more sense. Meadow Lane has a nice bit of space at the side of the pitch, which could see these come into play down the line. However, I do know that the club previously struggled to get companies to take up boards, I am not sure how easier it would be if they were digital. Most likely, we will end up with non-local companies and advertisers from the Football League shoved in our faces. Much like the new PA system has those annoying commercials which show on the scoreboard and deafen you in the stands.

Friday: I've still been working on things for the site. Made the most progress I can achieve, I am very thankful for the help and advice given to me in order to achieve this. Today: I won't be at Meadow Lane, I thought we would be paying my mum a visit but with the rain, it will be Sunday instead. With me not going anywhere properly, I'll try to call by @super_pie, I did manage to get round on Friday with Jake. So, I will be making sure to set up and get back into the swing of things here. I'll come back on Sunday, updating this on what I ended up doing and if anything changed.

I am sorry, since returning from my family break I haven't had much free time. The last two days, I have worked relentlessly towards further optimisation of the site. Including further theme work, I have managed to make good progress, but this sort of thing is very time-consuming for me. The plus point is that good progress has been made, with the hope of further improvements from working with developers. In the grand scheme of things, this is vital because the better increases the smoother things will be Keep pushing forward. Satisfied guests transform into excellent members.

Someone posted this anonymously in the PON Facebook group, it caused quite a stir. I don't know, people do tend to say things they hear via the grapevine and interpret it as the truth. I will try to speak with Matt directly, although I will add I won't be spreading misinformation or anything from what he might say. I am sure David Jackson or whoever handles the BBC's post-match questions will put this forward. We don't have a weak squad, I don't think it is as worrying as people are suggesting. It's natural to overthink things, whilst it will be difficult if Matt Palmer is injured. We have the ability to navigate through it, it will take people to step up and for us to continue to give our fullest support. I understand that worry does tend to take over, as of course we have had years of disappointment but look, usually losing games would see us plummeting down the league table. We win, hit a few snags and so far haven't lost a lot of ground. Why should we worry about unknowns? Let's show some strength and determination.
