  1. It should turn a profit if it’s approved. But I hope the club has other ideas on how the area can be utilised when there aren’t any matches. That would make it more practical and beneficial.
  2. At times, I wish Notts would opt to play the ball long, as we might then see more movement to get the ball. That’s something we need to fix quickly. I also hope we can have Sam Slocombe back in goal and it would be nice to see Adam Chicksen if they’re both in shape. Position Jodi Jones on the right and let Chicksen be the left wing-back.
  3. It’s written very well and the words capture my feelings perfectly, I couldn’t have expressed it better. We earned our promotion based on the points we accumulated in the league, but we were lucky or fortunate to beat a strong Chesterfield team on penalties. I think we should be grateful that we had two superior goalkeepers with different strengths. We’ve made significant progress, but some problems from the National League still persist. It might take a while, but Notts will be stronger next season.
  4. Booing achieves nothing but division. Time to lift the lads, not break them down. We're stronger together!
  5. Reading about our meticulous preparation makes me even prouder to support Notts. Brilliantly covered, shows the depth of our game planning!
  6. Love how Scott keeps focusing on the present, especially with his history at Crewe. Shows real professionalism.
  7. I agree that it’s needed now. I believe when something functions as flawlessly as goal line technology, it’s beneficial for every professional league to consider it.
  8. The focus on one game at a time is exactly the mentality we need. Here's hoping it carries us through to a win against Crewe!
  9. Honestly, the loan system can be a double-edged sword. While we've seen talents like Grealish shine, it's painful when key players are recalled unexpectedly. Balanced approach is key.
  10. Macari's comeback is important. Shows what wearing the shirt means. #COYP
  11. He looks promising. It would be good to have someone who could take on players. Does anyone know much about him? It would be better if he could play in different positions instead of just one.
  12. No, I can’t support a second team if I never see them play and I only go to Notts games. It’s costly, and I don’t like the idea of being a casual fan or supporting a bigger club just because they’re successful.
  13. Palmer and Scott could easily join our squad right now and make a big difference. I like McGoldrick, but he can’t lead us. We need him to think creatively and use his experience to help the club.
  14. I’ll always remember Cal. I thought he would reach the Championship while he was here, but he’s been unlucky with injuries. He was injured almost immediately at Aberdeen and then at Scunthorpe. Unfortunately, his career seems likely to be affected by this issue.
  15. It’s unfortunate to hear about Sven. I hope he’s doing well and continues to enjoy his life to the maximum.
  16. Cheers for the heads-up, @Chris! Just tuned my settings to keep tabs on members. Handy feature, this.
  17. Maynard seems a proper fit for us. Got high hopes for his tenure, especially with his knack for making the most out of small budgets.
  18. Fresh ideas could be just what we need against Barrow, looking forward to seeing Warner on the field too. Defence is key, but let's not forget to keep pushing forward. COYP!
  19. Really think Maynard's background in part-time football will be what sets us apart. He's used to making the most out of limited resources, and that kind of grit is what we need!
  20. So relieved to hear about Bajrami's progress! Tough break for the lad, but sounds like he's on the upswing. Can't wait to see him back on the pitch.
  21. Really optimistic about Jaden Warner. Here's hoping he's the defensive rock we need!
  22. What a start for the lad! Pure class on the pitch against Doncaster. Can see Sanderson shaping the future of Meadow Lane. Well in!
  23. I think Stuart Maynard's appointment is a positive move for Notts. He seems like a bright young manager with a lot of potential, and I'm excited to see what he can do with the team.
  24. I hope that Notts can make us proud. I won’t take the result too seriously even if it goes against us because we’re in a transition. I just hope Stuart Maynard inspires us to be at our best, especially as we’re playing at home.
  25. At this level, I’d prefer to hire someone who’s done well in the league we were in before. Rather than someone who’s been sacked from the same league or a higher one. Of course, there would be some exceptions but I reckon this is a great decision by Notts. Welcome to Meadow Lane, Stuart Maynard.
