  1. Welcome aboard! We’re all about sharing the highs, lows, and everything in between. Get stuck in @muskan761947!
  2. I’ve gone for Jacob Bedeau. I thought he looked right back to his best against Newport. It was great to see him carrying the ball forward with confidence, and he was really solid at the back too.
  3. Bradford City 0-1 Wycombe Wanderers Doncaster Rovers 3-1 Exeter City Lincoln City 0-0 Reading Plymouth Argyle 0-0 Barnsley Barnet 0-2 Fleetwood Town (Joker) Cambridge United 1-1 Cheltenham Town Grimsby Town 2-1 Crawley Town Walsall 1-0 Swindon Town
  4. I hope Kion Etete settles and proves himself. If he doesn’t, he’s wasting the chance Tottenham Hotspur gave him after he left us.
  5. I’m happy to give JJ time in the attacking midfield role. I think he can still put in good crosses and do the same things he did as a wing back, just from a different area of the pitch. Someone else will need to carry the ball forward, but JJ can still be effective. I’d love to see Jodi score more goals!
  6. Hello, welcome to the Pride of Nottingham @Chedozie. Have fun!
  7. I think £500,000 is too low for a player who has proven himself in League Two. His value should be closer to £800,000 or even £1,200,000. If the rumours about his agent are true, then he’ll likely need to be sold. Otherwise, Jatta should think about changing his agent. With his contract running down, we need to either extend it or sell him. Letting it run out helps no one. Selling good players isn’t ideal, but losing them for nothing is worse. Some fans might complain now, but they’d be even more unhappy if he left for free.
  8. Feels like the right mix of calm confidence and realism from the gaffer.
  9. He looked fine to me. I think once he gets used to things, we’ll see him improve. It’s still very early days. You can't judge someone properly based on a friendly. I saw enough to think he’s got something about him. Looks like he could be a decent addition.
  10. We need to be patient with how things develop. Growth takes time, and reacting too soon doesn't help. The original post seems more worrying than the situation itself. It's natural to have questions about the new head coach and the players brought in. Not everything will click straight away, and that's okay. The season has only just started. If after ten games it still looks like things aren't falling into place, then we’ll have a reason to talk. For now, let’s give it time to settle.
  11. Cotter’s goal was a beauty. Hit it with real confidence, could watch that all day.
  12. Barry Cotter was sent off, but there was no punishment for the German players who tried to start a scuffle. It was a poor challenge and just adds to the feeling that these friendlies might not be the best idea. The frustration is understandable, but you can’t react the way they did.
  13. I’m forcing myself to watch Notts right now, wondering why we’ve arranged friendlies just to be second-tier German teams’ whipping boys. I know it’s only a friendly, but it’s not the losing, it’s the lack of competition that’s hard to watch. The only reason I haven’t turned it off is the hope of seeing some useful changes in the second half. Honestly, I’d rather be out baking in the sun.
  14. Notts have arranged pre-season friendlies against teams we’re unlikely to compete with. The matches aren’t very entertaining, and I keep feeling like switching them off. Number 14 made a brilliant run and won us a free kick, which led to a chance. Still, I kept wondering why he didn’t pass the ball out wide. I don’t mind players being a little greedy, but it doesn’t help the team, especially if the referee doesn’t give the foul.
  15. Good pedigree and sounds like he’s got the right attitude too, welcome Sonny!
  16. Best of luck at Peterborough, Alex. Thanks for everything!
  17. You can tell the staff rate him, Collis wouldn't give praise lightly. Could surprise a few people.
  18. @Super_Danny_Allsopp, club’s got work to do now. Let's hope this isn’t the start of an exodus.
  19. I appreciate the transparency in discussing the decision-making process. It's reassuring to know the club is focused on long-term success.
  20. I couldn’t get on either, but this clears things up. I saw the message about the debugging apps and thought it might be linked. No harm done, and thanks for keeping us informed.
  21. Sounds like he really gets what the club is about. Good to hear!
  22. To be honest, I think Notts could look overseas again when bringing someone in. I’d be surprised if we didn’t end up signing someone from a smaller European country this time. There’s so much talent out there, and as long as the work permit or placement isn’t a problem, I really think we might do just that.
  23. Welcome, @BridgyPie. Its a sensible site that is focused on community. I have been made welcome since my early teens. I hope you do enjoy being a member of PON.
  24. If it is Luke Williams, I reckon it’s just short-term work while he searches for his next full-time role. The photo does look a lot like him, to be fair.
  25. If I randomly type on my keyboard, will I be able write Danish? 😂😂
