  1. I'm still upset about the decision and timing, but I do think we've had a great time watching Macaulay Langstaff play for Notts.
  2. Gutted to see Langstaff leave Notts County but wishing him all the best at Millwall!
  3. He’s a promising player and I wish him the best. It’s understandable when a young player leaves, but it’s different when it’s the newly appointed club captain. No one should be upset about this sale. The situation with Macca, however, I can understand.
  4. This is a massive own goal by Notts. It’s not the proper way to handle the sale of a player. Macaulay Langstaff should never have been appointed as the captain. The club made those sales pushes, and now we are left with nothing but negativity due to this poor management.
  5. Best of luck to Lucien! He's got great potential and I'm sure he'll shine at Norwich.
  6. How does letting go of canteen staff and other employees help Manchester United allocate more funds for their first team? The weekly wages of their lowest-paid player could likely cover a month’s salary for all these workers.
  7. This simply gives the impression that his name is being pronounced by someone of high social standing. I would assume that in a prison setting, where most individuals are from a lower-income background, this could potentially make things worse.
  8. I would be quite upset unless the transfer fee was truly justified. An upfront payment of £700,000 is far too low. Even if potential add-ons could increase it to around £2,000,000, it would depend on how likely Notts would be to receive that money. In my opinion, £2,000,000 is a low price for a striker who can score goals when given the opportunity. If he does leave, I hope Cedwyn Scott gets more playing time as a striker. He seems to be the best option, and we also have Alassana Jatta. Selling our top striker doesn’t lessen the blow, but I do hope that Scott gets more time in the striker’s position. I would also hope that Notts reinvests some of the money from the potential sale of Macca into signing a promising young replacement. Signing a good young replacement might alleviate some of the frustration. This all hinges on whether the rumour of Macca awaiting a medical at Millwall is true. One thing I’d like to add is that I’m surprised more clubs haven’t been linked to him. This gives me a glimmer of hope that all this might be unfounded. However, if it does happen, I’ve outlined my feelings on the matter.
  9. Macca will only depart if the club chooses to sell him. If Notts has accepted a bid for him as low as £700,000, I would be quite upset, regardless of any potential add-ons. There’s no urgency to sell him, so Notts might be making a significant error ahead of what looked like a promising season. We’ve allowed Kyle Cameron to go out on loan, which is fine. However, selling Tiernan Brooks, who was earmarked as our future number one without giving him a chance, and the potential sale of one of our top players, is quite negative.
  10. He’s indeed a legend for Notts. I agree with the remarks about gaining knowledge of players like Tony Hateley through the recollections of fans who witnessed his brilliance.
  11. Judging by his wiki, he’s hardly a footballer. His surname gives me a chuckle. With a last name like that, I hope he’s capable of looking after himself in prison.
  12. There is a need for Old Trafford to undergo repairs or some form of reconstruction. However, when they recruit players for unreasonable prices, it’s the stadium and the staff who bear the brunt. The fans should strive to make the club heed their concerns.
  13. A ban is extreme. Fines or suspension might work, but a ban doesn't send a positive message. It makes things seem worse than they are.
  14. Things like this put everything into perspective. Storms and natural disasters are awful.
  15. It is impressive to see the sales at a healthy level, which also shows how far we have come as a club. It will be exciting to see the attendance we get on match days.
  16. The new kit is stunning! Love the black and white design, especially the faded stripes. Well done, Notts County!
  17. Rawlinson's message is truly heartfelt. Best of luck to him in his next chapter! #OnceAPieAlwaysAPie
  18. I feel a mix of sadness and happiness. I was fond of Rawlo. I considered him a good defender, but his playing time would have been greatly reduced now. I wish him all the best.
  19. Good player on his day, what a servant to the club. Rawlinson's been wonderful to watch. It's tough to say goodbye, but the memories will remain. Best wishes on your new adventure, Connell!
  20. He’s the finest striker we’ve had in years, and I sincerely hope he stays with us.
  21. At last, you can simply click on the club’s logo to go back to the homepage. Previously, you had to use the navigation. It’s a nice improvement!
  22. I love hearing his enthusiasm for joining the team. His perspective on football tactics will be a great asset!
  23. Cheers for the update, it’s smashing to see the content back on PON and social media.
  24. The signing of Curtis Edwards is fantastic. He brings a unique element to the team and seems to be a valuable addition, especially with the departure of Jim O’Brien and John Bostock. It’s perfect to have someone with his experience as we head into the season.
  25. I’m not familiar with her, apart from what’s been mentioned, but it’s pleasant to know that Notts has a supporter who is a jockey and appears to be well-recognised in that sport.
