With respect @Wheelbarrow repair man Warnock was a great man motivator. The "brains" behind Warnock was the late great Mick Jones ( a reminder it was Mick that found Grealish and McGregor for #Notts, not Warnock! On communication, I had written to Jason Turner several times over the years but not once got a reply or even acknowledgment. He kept his Twitter profile locked too. He was an excellent administrator but those updates I presume, were personally made only after a nudge from the Bros? I would rather the money be spent on the squad rather than another public relations person. However I do think the club could use help from retired Notts fans out there!

Spot on @Dry Nelson Ray . It is always good to have an outsider's perspective. The nature of football means one cannot get every decision right. The general feeling of most supporters is that "the club is in good hands". Maybe we as a club have gone a little awry with a DoF not fully appreciating nor understanding the #Notts way and then making decisions that have cast an element of doubt amongst us supporters.

Another day where Tube strikes in London making journeys hellish... A friend texted me the news re DoF. There was only going to be the question who would go first. The DoF had plenty of time to source a decent keeper and didn't. ( and @Chris quite rightly remembers my thoughts on Aiden Stone, well done). We needed a DoF who was EFL1 / EFL2 streetwise , not just a data reader.

I maybe nitpicking but the "greatest owner" was Jack Dunnett (4th Division to the 1st in football's old money"). The modernisation of Meadow Lane was a consequence of the Taylor Report. Other clubs (like Portsmouth seemingly dragged their feet and kept the investment off the pitch for as long as possible?) Oh, the much vaunted, 5 year plan... Football, by it's very nature, just one bad season and all plans are out of the window. Look at Scunthorpe, Southend, etc, from the Championship to out of the EFL. Just look at Sheffield Wednesday's ownership ( @nightOWL ) and the prior ownership of Morecambe FC in recent months. Trying to get "off field" matters right, the Reedtz are the first owners in my lifetime in trying to achieve this. The Nest, the training pitches, improving hospitality, a state of the art pitch ( 🍄 excepted) even new hand driers in the toilets! None of this has happened ever since the Pavis ground redevelopment). All in all a great article @Graham . A common thread of the responses hat tips to "emotions". Our owners are Scandinavians and after many years of visiting Sweden and Denmark on business, the Scandinavians generally appear as "cold" from outside appearances.
