Peterborough United looked strong in attack but reminded me of last season's Notts defensively. They were quite poor at the back, and their goalkeeper seemed clumsy and easily beaten. This isn't to take away from our efforts, but he looked awful.

I have to give credit to the players for their fight, especially Abbott with that absolute screamer at the end. But I can’t help feeling disappointed again with the defensive side of things. These things might seem small to some, but they make a big difference to the matchday experience. Adding handrails and opening up the Jimmy Sirrel Stand to ease congestion are steps in the right direction. Meadow Lane is our home, and it’s great to see it being looked after.
