  1. Nick Tsaroulla put in a great shift from when he came on. Moving forwards, good runs, passing and tackles. First I have seen of him and was very impressed. Great to see Matty Palmer back!
  2. I thought the ticker on the app was good during the Shrewsbury game. Better than the Google live score, as the timeline on that only provides updates on goals, cards and substitutions, where as, the ticker on the Notts app is more detailed and provides updates more regularly.
  3. It would be very sad to see Crowley go to. He is a key player, we can't just keep selling players as soon as another club is interested. I think as someone else said, maybe Notts now need to concentrate on offering new contracts and retaining some key players like Crowley and Jones, maybe even at the expense of bringing in any new players at this time.
  4. I didn't think the line up was that bad and unfortunately there will be many times that you cannot play your strongest team especially with such a small squad. I wouldn't have gone with Slocombe in goal, but other than, that with quite a few injuries, what can you do, could have perhaps made some changes earlier and it is disappointing, considering the start Notts got off to, but it was a draw against a league 1 team, only decided by penalties. I don't think Maynard can take all the blame, the players are the guys on the pitch and are professional footballers, but none the less, ultimately a disappointing result and was hoping for better.
  5. Gutted, with such a thin squad, surely we shouldn't be getting rid of any more players, only bringing more in.
  6. Bit saddened that the programmes are stopping, used to always like getting a programme. More recently have just purchased them for particular games but I suppose the demand just isn't there anymore.
  7. Is the orange one just plain? Or is there a subtle pattern to it?
  8. If it is Dajaune Brown, what do we think to him, is he any good? I don't know anything about him other than connections to Derby and Gateshead.
  9. Not sure if the query about whether Notts would charge fans on match day to enter The Nest has already been answered. Butbi collected my season ticket today and on the leaflet that comes with it, it states "we're excited to offer the Nest as a best in class pre and post match destination. Access is from Ironmonger Road and entry is free. ????
  10. I was feeling more positive about the season but following the recent pre season performances and results I am not as confident. I thought the defence had been strengthened but we have conceded quite a few goals in the last few games, some late on and own goals which is worrying. Alongside this, goals are generally not seeming as easy to come by. Last season we scores a lot and conceded a lot, arw we now going to conceded a lot and not score as many? I was hoping that Scott would start to make his mark and get his name on the score sheet but this hasn't happened although Jatta and Didzy have now scored a few, which is good, but as others have stated I would like to see the introduction of another striker as another option.
  11. I am a bit loss for words. I know these are only pre season games but I really thought we would look al ot stronger defensively and we would have had more consistent results through the pre season, and by this stage, we would have been winning at least the last two games against York and Boston. Currently feeling a little unsure about the season ahead. Hopefully it is just down to the changes and taking a little time to gel as a unit.
  12. Hopefully we will be able to attend all of the home games with the exception of a couple due to being away. For away games, Hopefully get to attend at least a few. First away game done, as we went up to York for the pre season friendly.
  13. Yes! A new player announced! ???? wait, oh no, its just the kit guy ????. Still, all the best to him though.
  14. I have just read an article stating that both John Bostock and Will Randall, have recently played in a game for Swindon as trialists, against the U21 Southampton team.
  15. That's a really tough question and like people have said, it may be a little to early but i'll give it a shot: Bass, Tsaroulla, Gordon, Platt, Bedeau, Robertson, Crawley, Jones, Edwards, Jatta, Scott. Would have said Palmer but not sure if he will be fit. Did just see an article saying that Newport County have rejected some offers for their striker, Evans, wonder of one of these offers may have been from County ????
  16. Hopefully based on Notts county's statement that was released when Langstaff was sold, there is still hope of another striker as the statement said "we have, of course, been factoring his potential departure into our plans as we look to build a highly-competitive squad this summer."
  17. Definitely agree Robbie, I think I bore everyone I speak to about the current squad numbers being very thin on the ground. I also agree with maybe another defender and midfielder but would like to see a new striker, as I do not have much confidence in Junior Morias.
  18. @Robbie I agree both with wishing him well and concern for the squad size and depth. i think of the 3 original players listed for transfer that is 2 that have been released now by mutual consent. So no money coming in but I suppose a reduction in the wage bill.
  19. Best of luck to the lad. But for county including the departure of Macca, and including both Stone and Randall, is that now 14 out this summer and 6 in? There has to be more incoming and definitely a new striker
  20. I am still really confused and concerned. I know I did mention this before about having quite a thin squad in paper last season but we now have an even thinner squad currently for this season. It looks as though, with the new signings etc we will have a strong starting line up but if we have any injuries etc It looks like we may now have issues. To echo others, most of the off season news has been positive but the last week of news with further players leaving permanently or longer term loan is very worrying as we are losing depth to the quad. Even if the players aren't the best we do need people in reserve rather then no one.
  21. I was hoping the competition in the squad now, with the new acquisitions would mean this would push Cameron on and fight for his place. I am concerned that people said last season that our squad was quite thin, and now we still have more out goings than in comings.
  22. Gutted he has gone. Along the lines of what others have said, I thought Notts were perhaps going to give him an opportunity this season. But after they signed Bass, i think he would potentially have been a good number two. Now we have an aging keeper and A keeper that can't dive for back up.
  23. @Wheelbarrow repair man I agree, nice shirt but would have been better without the red behind the sponsor.
  24. @Wheelbarrow repair man
  25. If Notts were in talks with Terell Thomas but lost out to Carlisle, are Notts struggling to attract players due to how they finished in the league last season? In an interview towards the end of last season Maynard said that it was important to finish well to remain an attractive option during the off season, is this having an impact maybe? Or is it early days and the that the transfer window has only just opened.
