  1. I'm hoping for a win and would agree with @ARLukomski's team selection. We need to start climbing the table because God forbid we are in a relegation battle at the end of the season, I can't stand that.
  2. It sounds like we were unlucky to lose and the performance was much better, let’s hope the Bury game was a bad day at the office and last nights performance will become the norm because as @weymouthPIE says if we play like that we’ll win more than we lose.
  3. Well as I said in the daily chat thread I’ll be listening fearing the worse but hoping for the best. We can only hope the lads have a reaction from Saturday and put in a storming performance, these things do sometimes happen........don’t they? Please? Anybody? We’ll be ok, won’t we? Arrrgghh, the bells, the bells.
  4. I’m ashamed to say I don’t take a lot of interest in the other teams in league 2 with the possible exception of Mansfailed so I don’t really know much about Bury or their players but I’m hoping for a win obviously or I’d settle for a draw. By the way is it pronounced Boory or Berry? And why are they called The Shakers?
  5. It was tough on the lady pies but I believe Hardy did it in the best interests of the club as a whole, which to me is more important than peripheral entity’s.
  6. 1-0 what a great win for Notts, so pleased for the 800+ fans who travelled including our own @Chris @Magic magpie And @LozCloughSLO save journey back folks.
  7. 1-0 Stead penalty after great work from Boldwijn GET IN
  8. I think Harry will take the chance to have a look at some fringe players and also to give them a game I wouldn’t be surprised to see the whole team changed from Saturday.
  9. 0-0 half time, I’m listening on the radio it doesn’t sound like a very exciting game.
  10. I’d forgot all about him, yes a good player on his day.
  11. One change Brisley in for Milsom, sounds an odd choice I’m not sure he’s played there before but Kewell obviously feels he will protect the back four but can he pass the ball? Stead continues up front I’d have thought he’d be rested. Whats everyone’s thoughts?
  12. Forgot to mention the red card, well taking my black and white blinkers off for a moment I can see why the ref gave it, Milsom didn’t go in with any malice but his studs were showing and it was dangerous but what incensed me and a lot of the crowd was that the ref didn’t give the one before when Alessandra (I think it was) went clean through and was brought down and their player escaped with a yellow.
  13. That was a very good Notts performance especially in attack, we looked up for it from the start and we harried Crawley and closed them down really well. All three goals were excellent Stead had a lot of work to do for his but took it brilliantly and Thomas off the bench to score a curling free kick .....fantastic. Every player did their bit but special praise from me for Alessandra, Boldwin and of course captain fantastic Jon Stead. I’ve been feeling rough today and very nearly gave it a miss but I’m so glad I made the effort and the game was so good I forgot how ill I’d been feeling.
  14. It was great to get the first win under our belts, second half much better than the first, Fitzsimmons made an excellent save low down to his left in the second half I was right behind that goal it was excellent and deserved the congratulations he got from his team mates. I think Crawley on Tuesday will be a lot harder.
  15. We’ve kept a clean sheet for 45 minutes.
  16. It'd be great to get that first win, I really hope we can do it and start to move forward, it's all about confidence and a win would certainly go a long way to improve the confidence.
  17. Thanks for doing this article @TheSkipper it’s a great idea to put all the reaction in one place, it saved me trawling round various places looking as I’m away at the moment with limited access to the internet.
  18. I’m away so I wasn’t at the match but I take heart from reading @Natty‘s report, it seems that things may be slowly turning around.
  19. From what I heard from people who actually went to the match the performance never warranted a 5-1 scoreline and the performances are improving albeit not for 90 minutes but that will come hopefully with the increased fitness levels.
  20. Well I didn’t see the match and I only heard the last 10 minutes but the score speaks for itself, where do we go from here Kewell has a massive job on his hands.
  21. I'm not expecting a win but I am hoping for a good performance, I would take that, however if we got a draw that would be a bonus, a win and I would be ecstatic. Daddy Kewell has had a week with them now so hopefully little by little he will be instilling his ideas into them.
  22. It’s a good interview, he talks well and his passion for football shines through, I’m looking forward to seeing his relationship with Kewell and the gang develop (see what I did there?)
  23. Great feature thanks @samwatto2008 and of course @Chris It’s interesting that Rodney says Jonathon Forte is their star player this season, that is one big mistake by Nolan in my opinion, why the hell did he let him go?
  24. Fantastic drawing, well done Caitlyn.
