think they will hammer us because they are a good side at home and i still dont think we have enough pace to take the pressure off ourselves against a side like barnsley i could be wrong.

i should never have put my previous status but at the time i was annoyed, now i want to see pon reach 200 posts again and for people just to enjoy the site. its all i want.

think it will be a tougher game, think notts will lose but hope for a better performance away from home.

think notts have treid to do the right thing, some of the players have not worked but i do feel vaughan, dennis and brisley can work if they are given the right instructions. most of the new signings seem good enough on paper, so i think its tactical more than anything. needing to sign addition players now says more about kewell than the players. he seems unable to work or get the best out of some and he still continues to play the majority of the same players. -
think notts needs to balance the defending with the attacking play to get anything here, my fear is kewell will set notts up too defensively.

mk dons will be more attacking minded but they seem to struggle to score, notts needs to make this happen on tuesday night. if they win us comfortable then i feel the playoff dream would have taken a negative turn after the defeat to bury.

not sure what to expect from bury, i do feel they are overachieving somewhat but that does not take anything anyway from their teams performance. i just hope notts can maintain their winning streak or least continue to be undefeated. that invisible feel would help notts a lot to push further up the table.

people moan about this but its awareness and promoting homelessness. i dont think it would be safe for any of these people taking part to sleep rough on the streets, they can get the idea by doing this and it will help.

2-0 loss. i dont think some of the players can be pushing to replace the typical starting 11, its just a very poor result even tho most dont care about the cup.

there will be some rotation but they wont field a completely weakened squad, i say give the young lads a chance over others.

did anyone else think the club focused too much on promoting this game than macclesfield? i hope the ladies do well for notts but england ladies bores me.

the result was more than just three points, it was massive. i am glad that they pushed and got clipped for the penalty, it sounds like the officials was very poor but at least notts won.

notts was not totally out classed but max looks a little like fitzsimons did. he might have been nervous. -
i think the pressure as switch from getting the win to requiring to maintain this form but i think the players will keep up the high level of performance. i would be happy with a draw, i cant get greedy by suggesting another win will come.

its great to get that first win i just hope notts can progress further and actually start to do much better, we can then put this awful start behind us.

i think its going to be tougher than crewe, i cant see notts breaking them down well or controlling the game. it will most likely be a battle to get anything but i just hope notts are up to it.

i think nathan thomas has not been that good of a performer for us, i can see why he struggles to get noticed with his parent club.

it looks like two teams in a similar situation faces off against each other, i do feel we are much more stronger at the back but it remains to be said what ross fitzsimons will do at meadow lane. i am interested to hear @samwatto2008 mention that he looks better away from home in the latest poncast, i think he needs to strive to prove his worth to the home fans and hopefully another good performance will do that. part of me thinks both teams will struggle but if we can lift the majority of our own players i think a win could be likely.

a draw may turn into a win, its just pleasing to see notts make the most of games and to fight. a clean sheet/not conceding right now feels better than a win because it shows the progress. i think when they do get the first win the positives will flow and that they will do well from there. its a solid point.

come on notts, get the goal and stop letting them cause issues at the back. kewell should make a change up top.

i am listening on my dab radio, i really hope david jackson is doing the commentary and that john thompson is not on. i dont mind charlie but i prefer david. i think northampton will be looking at our weaknesses and thinking they have won before its begun. we have to make sure that if they do underestimate us that we take the game to them and just push for a goal as best we can. i think if we could learn to take the lead by two goals i think it would breed confidence. 1-0 notts win and jon stead to score.

@Fan of Big Tonewasn't having a go at you @liampie or anyone else for that matter.I 'm sure he's wondering why some members have taken exception to what he said but in trying to to explain he just dug himself further into a hole.He did go to great lengths to apologise if he'd offended anyone.I think what he was referring to was non discussion posts .I.e on our way to 400+ posts there were a few posts of encouragement along the lines of-'20 to go now',then another like 'can we get a few more posters',followed by something like (from Tony')I'm here now'.All posts helping to creep towards the 400 mark, which may not be be' meaningless' but are perhaps frivolous and are not what you could call 'quality discussion' just plain good fun
@Chris mentioned somewhere how text can come over different to how it does when spoken ..If it makes you feel any better @liampie only last week I misunderstood a post and over-reacted (a post in ask a member a question =from @Chris)
Anyway this Rams fan has seen you grow, over the years, from being a bit shy but always interesting to a confident key member of PoN.So come on @liampie don't cut off your nose to spite your face(as me mam used to say) get posting again PLEASE

@liampie don't feel like quitting, you are a good member and you always put the site first. I always see you having your say, so why let a view poor chosen words effect this?
