How Do You See This New Season Going For Notts? i think we will be much better and i think much it comes down to form, plus the christmas period and how we handle it. i do think we can be at the top end, but i dont think we will maintain an automatic position throughout the season. i do think we can finish in the autos, with the playoffs being more likely. What Do You Expect From The Team? better defensively, good possession state, plenty of shots on target. hard work and working as a team. And What Will Be Notts Final Position in the League 2 Table? 5-7th, anywhere between those, perhaps higher with things going our way.

i think the club sees cedwyn scott as the most suitable replacement, hes relatable and not a million miles from what macca offered. jatta is a totally different player, its always been between those two. i am pleased scott got it, i would say the same if jatta had.

he played for barnsley in league one last season, so he looks favoured but i think nemane is wonderful going forward, will grant be playing out wide for us? he played as a central midfielder but it does not mean he cant play there. i dont know, i am disappointed we have let nemane go to a team who is a rival in our league. thqt dont make sense to me, but if grant is better defensively and good going forward it would make more sense. welcome to notts and meadow lane conor grant!

i am saddened to read this, its been a joy seeing him play for celtic and scotland, but i always felt him representing his country was something that stood out more than scottish league football. i suppose he wants to focus on that, but i do think he could offer them more for a few more years. its just sad still, because you luck forward to seeing ex players like him on the international stage.

its a bit of a farse by appointing him as the interim manager, its like hiring someone for a job but not having the faith in their ability so the job advert remains out there just in case. if someone is good enough to take temporary charge, more faith should be shown. unless lee carlsley is not sure about the role, but i dont think that would be the case. i think its more the fa pandering to potential mardy england fans. personally i would give give him it for two tournaments and see how he does.

i am pleased for jim o brien, it must be hard after retiring and at least being a coach will see him help the next generations of potential football stars. the role was clearly something he would be good at, so i wish him well and hope one day our paths do cross again.

i believe its cedwyn scotts time to shine, he was missed last season just as much as matt palmer. scott sort of became a shadow to macca, so i do think fans will see him at his best and whilst macaulay langstaff is a goal machine. i think scotts relentless pressure and ability to win the ball back quickly will be a big part of our season ahead.

it will be good to be back to watching the action and i am looking forward to making the tranmere game tomorrow. i am hoping the squad go with a level of confidence, not to underestimate them but to play with confidence. i will be trying to generate supportive chants to the players.

only concern i have is if stuart maynard does not get off to a good start, i really want to see it work out for him and i do think hes a good coach but i just hope notts are not too big for him. the pressure of managing us could be a worrying point.

i dont have much time or interest in the premier league, i sometimes caught games last season but i think it lacks the fan element that we have. manchester city being unable to sell out their ground, despite having the appeal and ability to lower their tickets just sums it up. when teams start buying the league, it does take away their identity and i am disappointed they are managing to avoid proper punishment so far for all their charges.
