One of the few shining lights at Notts County during the dire late 2000s, Richard Butcher scored 18 goals from 80 appearances, an impressive tally for a midfielder.

Butcher also played for the likes of Lincoln City, Kettering Town, Peterborough United and Macclesfield Town, but he tragically passed away aged 29 due to a heart condition.
