Notts County v Northampton Town Highlights

The match was a good work out for those returning from injury, the squad players & our academy players.

The first goal could have been easily avoided. Another distribution error from Slocombe, his pass putting a Notts player under pressure from the opposition press, then Notts quickly losing possession high up the field.

We have seen that countless times last season with Slocombe. It does concern me if Bass becomes injured & Slocombe is the only alternative.

And the second goal conceded, I think Bass might have saved it.

We didn't have a goalkeeper on the subs bench. That was a little concerning. Would have thought Bass would have been on the bench.
