Kevin Nolan has urged Notts County to maintain the level achieved against Morecambe when they head to Swindon Town on Saturday.
The Magpies beat the Shrimpers 4-1 at the Globe Arena but League Two leaders Luton Town handed the Robins a hammering of their own, winning 5-0 at the County Ground.
With Swindon manager David Flitcroft accusing his charges of capitulation, Nolan is aware they will be a wounded animal ready to fight back.
“They are going to be looking for a reaction,” the Notts boss told the Nottingham Post.
“That’s going to be tough on us, but look, there are not going to be any easy games from now until the end of the season.
“But if you look at how we played against Morecambe, we handled them brilliantly, because they are no mugs and no pushovers.
“We were thoroughly better than them which is why we got the win.
“And what we have to do now is to go Swindon on Saturday and replicate that performance.”
