Notts County boss Kevin Nolan wary of Yeovil Town threat

Joe Jones

Kevin Nolan is eager to see Notts County build on their winning run in League Two when they take on Yeovil Town at Meadow Lane on Saturday.

The Magpies followed up their 2-1 win over Coventry City with a 3-1 victory against Colchester United at the weekend to move up to fourth in the table, though they have since returned to fifth following Tuesday night's fixtures.

Exeter City are now fourth in the standings, while Wycombe remain third, five points ahead of Notts with three games left.

A playoff place is now very likely for Notts, but Nolan is cautious of the threat posed by Darren Way's charges, despite their lowly position of 18th.

“The last two games have been fantastic and we’ve had some good football,” he told the Nottingham Post.

“We’ve got another tough game against Yeovil this weekend and they’ve had some positive and good results against some big sides this season.

“But we will be working hard and tirelessly to keep this run going. We want to finish the season strongly and see where that takes us.”
