As of Thursday afternoon, Notts County have made several moves in the transfer market as well as a contract update.

First up is winger Terry Hawkridge being released from his Magpies contract so he could pursue an opportunity with another club.

No team has been mentioned as of 3pm but Neal Ardley said he's being pursued by a few clubs, so best of luck to him.

Then is the loan signing of 19-year-old Huddersfield goalkeeper Ryan Schofield, was England’s number one when they won the 2017 Toulon Tournament.

And the third update is that defender Cedric Evina has extended his contact at Meadow Lane until the end of the season.

The full-back's deal was set to expire this month but he will now remain with Notts until at least the summer, at which point hopefully there will be another League Two season in store.

It’s been a good week. O’Brien and Schofield are a breath of fresh air to me, a keeper is way, way overdue and these 2 signings could save the season from being a total disaster.

After a decent start Evina seemed to lose momentum but seems to be getting some form back. Not sure he’s a long term answer to left back though.

I feel sofor Terry, he never really got a grip of a first team start. He is a great lad and I hope he gets back into the football league really soon.
