Notts County has voted on whether the National League season should be null and voided for 2020-21.

Clubs within the division have been asked to provide their thoughts on the current situation caused by COVID-19.

Uncertainty still surrounds the National league and the future of games being played.

Via the official Notts County site a statement read: β€œOn Monday, we received correspondence from the National League detailing resolutions for member clubs to consider the outcome of the 2020-21 season.

We have voted for Special Resolution One and against Ordinary Resolutions Two and Four, meaning we believe the season should continue and that clubs should decide the outcome of their own divisions.

We look forward to learning the full results of the vote and hopefully continuing our push for promotion.”

The National League South and North have had their season paused for a fortnight.

It's unknown if the Non-Leagues top division will do the same or suspend the league indefinitely, if enough clubs vote to let the league decide their fate independent of each other than every club would get an equal vote on what happens.

it should continue but the checks players have need to be done a little better, especially on match days temperaturesΒ should be checked on arrival and just before kick off. suspending the league or null and voiding it would be stupid, it puts the whole thing into a pointless area.

It shouldn't have started if they want to scrap it now, carry on but keep safe. Take a break if needed or dock teams points who fall down with it. Maybe they would take it more serious?
