Oldham's Jonathan Forte returning to Notts County?

Joe Jones

Notts County have reportedly enquired about Oldham Athletic striker Jonathan Forte.

The 29-year-old has been offered a new contract by the Latics, but he is yet to agree a deal with the League One side.

According to the Nottingham Post, Magpies manager John Sheridan - who was at Boundary Park last season - is keen to work again with Forte.

The Barbados international has enjoyed three loan spells at Notts in 2008, 2009 and 2012, scoring 13 goals in 29 appearances.
