Wendy Patrick, a dedicated supporter of Notts County, stands at the intersection of passion, philanthropy, and the pulse of Meadow Lane. Her journey into the folds of Nottingham's historic football club commenced unexpectedly, painting a narrative that intertwines her love for the oldest professional football club. Reflecting on her football odyssey, Wendy shares, "I started off life supporting Forest as my parents did, but when I was about 7 or 8, my dad stopped going. I fell in loveUpdated by liampie

Notts County defender Wes Atkinson has been recalled to Meadow Lane following a loan spell at Eastleigh FC. The 21-year-old former West Bromwich Albion right-back, signed by the Magpies in the summer, was sent out on 20 November to cover for a spate of defensive injuries at the Hampshire club. He has now returned to Nottingham following three appearances for the National League side, but Spitfires manager Chris Todd has expressed his desirAdded by Joe Jones

What a great pre-season it has been! I’ve been to every match and, frankly, I don’t want pre-season to end. With the bitter reflections of last season still fresh in my mind, I have been thrilled by the passing and movement that RM is keen to instil, and that is rapidly becoming this team’s trademark. The early matches amply demonstrated the skills of the new players while also showing that Jimmy Spencer is back to his best although he stiUpdated by cheeky~k8

It was early on handing out flyers ahead of the Brentford game on Saturday that I originally heard the rumours surrounding Lee Hughes. I had approached a supporter, who at first seemed interested until he noticed the artwork in the centre of the flyer. He responded by asking if I had heard the 'news' giving no indication as to what he meant. He added 'He's leaving anyway, good riddance if you ask me', I couldn't help but feel disappointed. Not long after, I overheard a group of faUpdated by PON_News

The Shrewsbury game seems to be a distant memory now. For myself it's hard to believe we haven't played since the 1st of January 2013. The weather forecast doesn't seem to help our lack of events surrounding Notts County. Apart from the signing of Andre Boucaud it has been very quiet, not much seems to be happening at all and I'm starting wonder if we will make any other signings. It's not a complaint, I'm just hopeful that we may add bulk to our squad. More importantly I cannot wait to sUpdated by PON_News

So far this season, we haven’t yet witnessed a settled Notts County but we have been entertained by a couple of outstanding performances. With the arrival of Izale McLeod, Notts do look much stronger up front and the loan arrival of Alan Sheehan does provide the back with much needed cover. At the recent home game against York City, I mentioned to a friend about how comfortable we looked without so many of our foreign legion players. I’m not trying to suggest thatUpdated by cheeky~k8

After Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Brentford, the boo’s that immediately followed from around the ground after the final whistle were noticeably loud. Having seemingly copied the same script from when they last played Rotherham; Notts dominated with slick passing football, and definitely deserved their first goal. However, it was unsurprising that Notts capitulated again after only 30 minutes and parked the bus only for it to be driven away by a committed Brentford, worthy winners of all 3 poUpdated by PON_News

I felt after last season we had turned a corner, I have to admit that Chris Kiwomya's appointment was disappointing – I had hoped we would go for experience but none the less I am willing to back any manager, just like I would regardless whoever played for Notts County. The early signs seemed promising, I eagerly awaited the final game and I have to say when it came – I felt saddened as you can imagine but the prospect of a brighter season soon followed. Now, Chris might not be setting thUpdated by Chris

Jon Stead has elaborated on his decision to reject interest from all around the world to sign a new Notts County contract and promised that there is more to come from him next season. During the 2016-17 campaign, the 34-year-old was the Magpies' highest scorer with 14 goals, and he won the League Two Player of the Month award for September. There was interest from the United States for Stead, who was sidelined by injury midway through the season, but he has now committed his future toAdded by Joe Jones

After such a bright start for Notts, the results against Mansfield, Oxford and Accrington Stanley have been disappointing to say the least. Yet, with the spine of Notts County's 2015-16 squad being quite varied, it is a concern of mine about how these players will settle down. I also wonder just how many are in fact Ricardo's men, as Head of Requirement Guy Branston appears to have ideas above his station. After the recent media-related miUpdated by cheeky~k8

Notts County's new signing Will Randall has expressed his excitement at the prospect of working with head coach Luke Williams. The winger, who recently joined the Magpies from Sutton United, cited Williams as a major factor in his decision to make the move to Meadow Lane. Randall has previous experience working with Williams during their time together at Swindon Town. Wycombe Wanderers will be hoping to mount a successful push towards the play-offs and after a disappointing outcome last year – The Chairboys will be hoping to do one better within the 2015/16 season, after losing to Southend United in last year’s play-off final. Gareth Ainsworth’s side hasn’t been doing that badly this season, however they have hit a dry patch as of lately. They have won only two of their last six games, having drawn three and lost once. Yeovil Town come into the game only having scored two goals in their last six games, a run of 4 defeats and two draws shows the lack of form by last years Championship struggler’s. However, they cannot be written off because of this as fortunes frequently change. On the 8th of November Yeovil beat Crawley Town in the F.A Cup at home by one goal to nil. The last time they won in the league was back in September against Peterborough. League wise The GloversUpdated by cheeky~k8

Jamie Fullarton will be hoping his Notts squad can achieve their third successive away with since he took charge. The Magpies' confidence has increased on the road since the departure of Ricardo Moniz with fans in attendance and in spirit will hope this continues for as long as possible. On Monday the 15th September 1986, 1,500 supporters packed into the Astoria Ballroom while more fans were locked outside gathered to hear about the financial difficulties the club had found themselves in. The last week has proved to be a disappointing one for the young lads of the youth team, firstly they were knocked out of the FA Cup by Peterborough 2-0 with a lackluster performance, then just as they thought they could put that performance behind them with a quick return in the league last Saturday against Mansfield Town the game was called off. Saturdays game for the Youth Team provided them with their first opportunity to right a few wrongs from the disappointment of the FA Cup tie against Peterborough.
