It’s early in the season, but it's clear that both teams have plenty to prove. Notts has had a shaky start, but the home crowd at Meadow Lane could provide the boost they need. 6000 season ticket sold will mean a 10,000 plus crowd will be rocking Meadow lane, & with a good away support it should be a very good crowd.

If Notts can keep it tight at the back, Notts are quite capable of scoring at the other end.

I'm expecting a good match and I'm hoping for a win. A 1:0 win would do for me because  it would emphasize that Notts are going to be much more competitive this season.

It would be good if the crowd, new pitch, and players all clicked and made it easier for the game. I am sure the squad is confident and focused. Fleetwood most likely won’t be worried based on our start, but tomorrow it’s two teams who haven’t met this season working each other out and trying to test each other. I think we stand a good chance of making the most of the occasion.
