Oldham were in absolutely dire straits before Sheridan took over there again to be fair. But 9 defeats in the last 11 games does tell its own story. Welcome to the pleasuredome Oldham and Scunny, hope we don't have to play you (but we probably will).

Fun fact: three of the 22 clubs that resigned from the Football League to join the Premier League in 1991 have now played in the National League. Oldham are one. Who are the other two?

Yep. Luton are living proof that things can get better. They were in the NL for years. 

I'm amazed he managed to get another league club after getting sacked from Chesterfield when he was doing his best to put them into the NL North. The good news is that he is staying there (good for us, not Oldham)!
