Pearce Returns To County!

Defender Krystian Pearce has returned to Notts County at the end of his three-month loan spell at Barnet.

The centre-half, 22, made 17 appearances for the Bees after moving to Underhill in September, and formed an impressive partnership alongside David Stephens.

Stevenage loanee Andy Iro, who has been an unused substitute for the last two matches, could make his debut when Barnet head to Dagenham on Saturday.

But head coach Edgar Davids admits whoever comes into the side will have some big boots to fill following Pearce's departure.

He said: "He'll be a massive loss. He was one of the pillars of the team.

"It's too bad for us, but I hope he will get an opportunity at his club."

Do you think he's gonna stay or go on loan again?

I fully expect him to fight for a place in the team, it depends on how Curle see's it though. He has made numours comments to the media, along the lines of saying there's still a future here for him but it's a case of sticking him into the team to see.

I'm glad he's back, I highly rate him and feel if he's motivated and managed the right way we'd have a gem in defence.

His problem comes from misreading the game and being eager, he likes to go into challenges etc and he doesn't seem to reflect on what might happen, this will be something experience resolves in my opinion and the coaching staff working on it. His attitude could very well be what's required, though he will struggle with us having Damion Stewart.
