Do you listen to the radio?

Featured Replies

That's right Super Ram. Classic programmes tend to be repeated but you seem to hear something new every time.

I am a Beyond Our Ken and Round The Horne addict and am currently listening to Journey Into Space for the third time.

It also broadcasts many short "horror", mystery and dectective items which provide varied entertainment.

You need a DAB radio though or listen on line.

Hope you are keeping well.

Me and my mates used to listen to a lot of the original broadcastsΒ  on my trannie.Round the Horne was a particular favourite of ours.Listening to them again brings back great memories.

My parents used to listen to the radio a lot when I was little-The Archers,Billy Cotton Band Show,Two way family favourites,The Goons, Hancock etc

I think I can just about remember the Billy Cotton Band Show, if I say WAKEY, WAKEY have I got the right show? Not sure how I dredged that up from the inner recesses of my mind.

It was also on the telly in the early 60's @tonyhateley

Yes, come to think of it I think the telly is where I remember it from not the radio.
