Yesterday I was invited down to watch the Academy train, it was a great experience. To be able to watch the quality in the coaching and young players was something I really enjoyed, I also took pictures of the occasion.

It's good to see young players being taught properly and although the majority will not even make the youth team, it's good for us as a club because narrowing a group of 50 (lets say) to a group of 12-15, must mean the better players are available to come through our ranks and of course some of the other youngsters will naturally find other clubs.

Quite a few are actually Notts fans, with parents who support the club.

I joked to myself about how many actually become die hard fans via the training they receive which is completely free for the youngsters. Very proud of the club!

Sounds interesting. Some pics i saw of the young players joining in was nice to see, not quite so sure about super pie just standing there not impressed.

i did not realize we had a full depth academy, i thought we just 16+s in and trained them from then. really good feature and photos @notts-joe
