Our own Gary Thompson on has been recognised by EA in FIFA 15 Ultimate Team by being included in this week's team of the week beside Aguero and Sneider (albeit on the bench).

This means that there is now a limited version of Thompson in the game where his stats are increased, making him more valuable to trade:

Hopefully there will be lots more Notts "in form" cards in the future!

It seems very surreal that Garry Thompson would make the team but if they base it on performances and goals, I am sure he has every right to be named there. It's just not something you would expect, I don't think the F.A would for example. They would never choose a player outside of the Premiership.

Well Done Fifa and Garry Thompson.

PS. I bet he's a fifa fan now for sure ;)

That team of the week is mostly wrong though.....

Shouldn't they just have put the Notts first team squad up there?

They do pick players from lower leagues, but this can be from any country, so its still impressive.

From what I recall Bart had an "in form" card at some point last season.

Not quite.  You have to buy packs of "cards" in game, either by using currency you got from playing/winning games or you can buy them with real cash.  The packs give you a random selection of players, and for this week Thompson will be a rare card that not many people will get.  You can then trade these cards on a market in game that you canb use money you made from playing to buy them.  As he is a special card, he is worth more on this trading marketplace.
