Geoff Thomas... I struggled because @PTID1862 was extremely greedy Not really, he took all the obvious ones.

cheers both, great to see it continued - i was away for the week and had no internet access.  was thinking all week for links though, quite a struggle this one.

fond memories of dec96 at gresty road, after an awful 0-3 messers murphy and thompson were relieved of duties which in turn led to big sam.  one of sam's signings was a certain francis tierney, once tipped for liverpool and great things.  an injury led to loss of form, and failing to recapture this, it led to meadow lane...

 

jason kearton was one of our 'galacticos', (steve nicol, pat van den hauwe etc) that failed to keep the club up in what is now the championship.

 

and finally, julian baudet - not much to recall other than he was our savoir in many games ahead of illustrious colleagues hurst, gordon (POM), scully etc. 

@pie_in_shanghai I am struggling from here, it's a tough one.
