Izale McLeod on Crawley

Featured Replies

Izale McLeod has given a frank interview to local media about his departure from former club Crawley Town.

He left the Broadfield under a bit of a dark cloud, with Red Devils fans seemingly unhappy with how he went about things.

The most telling aspect of it is when he said: "But what people outside of football don't realise is how clubs manipulate situations to make the players look bad."

Here's the article - what do you make of his thoughts on the situation?

Interesting in one breath he intimates that Crawley (the club) manipulated the situation to make him look bad and then in the next breath he says he hasn't got anything bad to say about the club! You can't have it both ways Izale just tell it like it is and stop sitting on the fence. :)

To be honest I am not surprised by his comments I am sure clubs to manipulate things but at the same time so can players and agents.

McLeod really looks geared towards making such a huge difference for Notts and right now, I think I was wrong to be concerned about the fee we paid. Yet, with the amount of money we have spent in previous years - I do think it was warranted.

What a difference he's made tonight.

He's been very unlucky not to have gotten on the score sheet so far.
