As a refugee seeking asylum for sanity from the other board, which seems to have plundered new depths, greetings to all. I too was slightly underwhelmed by his appointment. However what done is done and I am actually looking forward to the game at "Creepy" tomorrow. I hope Dryden gets a fair crack to become his number 2, having watched a few reserve games this season, his organisational, directional and motivational actions have been plus points. It would also help to disarm the anti Forest aspect of the managerial appointment, with a Notts bias. This is not just a sentimental thought as I firmly believe Dryden will make first team managerial material in the future.

I hope also with Jamie's continental football education, we will see some new set plays from free kicks and corners. Stanley certainly delivered some good dead balls in his last match. It will be interesting to see the defensive line up tomorrow.

Well, a week has been a long time in football. I thought on Saturday, we would be set up to pass the ball "effectively" as that is his chosen word. I am sure his footballing education as a player in France, they would not have played hoofball. So why on earth has he ditched such footballing principles to serve up such utter rubbish we witnessed on Saturday. I agreed keeping the same defence that had done relatively well at Crawley but the complete lack of creativity in midfield, harker back to the days of Derry's and Hart's hoofball. His words after the match did not match the performance we have seen. If he said, we failed and I take full responsibility, that may have been enough. Instead we got something akin to the Environmental Agency's chairman, saying "it's not me gov, I was away on holiday as the north west flooded". Klopp tells it as it is and takes the supporters with him through good and bad. Jamie showed no empathy to our supporters...how can he expect to move forward with such a vacuum between he and the clubs supporters. Answers on a postcard please.

If you learn something from every game, there shall come a point in time, when you should never lose... Jimmy Sirrel
