It's hard to know the standard in reserve games, the rules state a certain number of under-21 players have to play so there are plenty of kids on the pitch.  In the game against Scunny Spencer was up against a couple of big, strong typical League 1 or 2 centre backs, and he barely got a look in.

stead is the better finisher but spencer could have improved more with the quality of strikers around him.

only thing to jimmys advantage is hes more mobile and holds the ball up. i do not think we tried sign sheehan despite what branston has supposedly said, i think its regrets talking or egos.
