Collin - 5.5 more assured, still with odd lapse on decision making

Laing - 6 - Good tackle early on, comfortable on the ball

Duffy - 5.5 - Still slow at times and occasionally caught out of position
Hollis - 7.5 nice to be able to give good marks to Haydn MoM
Dickinson - 5.5 - An OK performance

Rodman - 5.5 - Only appeared with confidence late on. Still unsure if he is any good

Richards - 6 - Slowly goes about his work and gives defence protection

Milsom -6 - Solid in midfield

Forte - 7 - Got stronger as game went on.

Campbell - 5 - All effort no creativity nor end result
Collins - 5.5 - Missed a good chance,  and  header cleared off the line.

Oliver - 7 Still was unsure of his confidence on the penalty. Just don't think he is a natural goal scorer

O'Connor - 5.5  I am still waiting to see what the fuss is about. Hot and cold performance.

That was my first game of the season, so I spent the first part working out who was who (not helped by the almost invisible shirt numbers). So instead of doing full ratings I'll just mention a few who stood out.

Hollis was probably the best I've seen him. Did his job well and looked confident.

Rodman blew hot and cold - was very quiet in the first half, but was involved in a few good moves in the second. Forte looked a lot more effective after being moved up front late in the match, he's totally wasted on the wing.

Oliver's penalty was well saved, but it was at just the right height for the keeper to save too. Overall, the draw was a fair result against a solid side.

Collin - 6.5 I feeel more confident about him game by game

Rodman - 6 Right wing back could be his best position, much more effective than wide in midfield.

Laing - 5.5 Solid

Duffy - 5 Still not at his best

Hollis - 7 played well bar a few loose long balls

Dickinson - 6.5 Got forward much better

Richards - 5.5 Less involved than he needs to be at times, but still a kid of course

Milsom - 6.5 Solid

Campbell - 5.5 all effort and no end product (again)

Forte - 4 until moved to the centre then 7

Collins - 6 provides good movement and effort.

Oliver - 4.5 can't score...

O'connor - 5 mixed

A bit late, but here's my two penn'orth:

Collin 6 - looking more confident with every game.
Laing 6 - a bit dodgy first half, improved in the second.
Duffy 6 - steady performance, didn't do too much wrong.
Hollis 7.5* - good positionally, strong in the challenge, kept things tight at the back.
Dickinson 6 - helped out in defence, a few good forward runs.
Rodman 6 - an improvement, got a bit more involved than usual.
Richards 6.5 - growing into his role, doesn't waste many passes.

Milsom 6.5 - competed well and worked hard.
Forte 6 - better when he went more central, stuck at it.
Campbell 5.5 - plenty of effort but nothing quite worked for him.

Collins 5.5 - left too isolated to maximise his talents.

Oliver 6 - gave their defence  more of a test when he came on.
O'Connor 6.5 - good and bad, but seemed to give us a bit more drive going forward.

Not the worse 0-0 I have seen, the game livened up in the second half.  We did lack that cutting edge, but on the plus side we competed a lot better and closed them down well.  We seem to have a bit more shape and didn't look the soft touch at home we did earlier in the season.  Only steady progress, but progress nonetheless.

@Elite_pie Agree with Elite that we are lacking a cutting edge. As we don't have an out and out winger, I would like to see Stan play in Rodman's role... at least Stan possesses more skill which can help him go pass people and his lack of defensive game are akin to Rodman's, so nothing is lost there

Many managers have a habit of sticking a quick striker on the wing, and in most cases they just look lost. There's more to being a good winger than just pace. Surely Snijders merits a go out there more than Forte or Aborah?
