Hi, I wonder if you can help me please? I'm involved in a project to identify the first Black players for each of the 92 league sides. I think the late Pedro Richards was County's first having made his debut at Sunderland on 23 November 1974 (I was there!). He was followed by Tristan Benjamin who made his debut at West Brom on 2 April 1975. Does anyone know of any earlier Black County players please?

Those are the first two that I am aware of @billhern, but I am in the process of asking around.

So far nobody I have asked knows, though I am sure someone I know will do. I'll share this and see if anyone else can come forward to confirm the answer or not.
