I've asked quite a few people to take part, I'll customize and tweak the image I use here and let each writer have their own post. I also encourage members to take part, you can simply add your final table below or you could pm me. I would happily add it to the main site! Let's get this going - YOU PIES!!

Four Four Two magazine might not be too popular on this site. This is their prediction for this season's league one table:

1st. Peterborough United
2nd. Brentford
------------------------------------------

3rd. Wolves

4th. Preston North End
5th. Bradford City
6th. Milton Keynes
------------------------------------------

7th. Sheffield United
8th. Tranmere Rovers
9th. Rotherham United
10th. Bristol City
11th. Coventry City

12th. Gillingham
13th. Stevenage
14th. Leyton Orient
15th. Swindon Town
16th. Colchester United
17th. Carlisle United
18th. Crewe Alexandra
19th. Port Vale

20th. Crawley Town
------------------------------------

21st. Walsall
22nd. Oldham Athletic
23rd. Notts County
24th. Shrewsbury Town

That predicted table has convinced me that nobody at four four two magazine has the faintest idea about league one, they cant have a great deal of knowledge about it looking at that. I think thats three years in a row they've had Notts to be relegated too!

Then again, this is the same magazine who had Swansea to finish bottom last season, Newcastle to finish 4th, Sheffield Wednesday to make the championship play-offs, Coventry to win league 1; and they also had Charlton to finish 18th in league one the season they went on to win the title...

Very poor magazine, I said this when IM asked me about it and I stand by it. Not being biased or childish, they only include some lower league football items to help them sell copies. They focus on Europe more than lower English teams and they only care about the premiership.

We won't finish 23rd!

Have they got The Rams for promotion. That would really get me worried. :hmm:

I agree @notts-joe, its always pretty shoody journalism when it comes to the football league and lower. Don't get me wrong, I'm not claiming to be a journalistic expert but you can tell when the writer has little to no clue about what they're wrtiting about. Their league 2 predictions are always daft. For years it was always the biggest sides at the top - Bradford to win the league with Rotherham, Chesterfield etc behind. And the smallest clubs to be relegated - your Accringtons and Dagenhams

Talking of shoody journalism, I've just read a piece on UK Soccerway which previews the opening weekend of league one, and apparently our manager is still Keith Curle. Sums it up really

Well September is over and the critical month of November upon us .So how are we all doing with our predictions?

Notts are the obvious disappointment but so are Sheffield United and Bristol City with Leyton Orient and Rotherham being the surprises.Still a very long way to go.
