With our 23rd fixture of the 46-game League Two season coming on Saturday, we're virtually at the halfway point of the 2017-18 campaign.

So we'd like to ask: who has been your player of the season so far, and why?

We've opened up a poll featuring every player who's made 10 or more appearances in all competitions, so please give us your vote and, if you'd like, explain why your pick deserves to be given the accolade.

Matt Tootle as he been Mr consistency in my opinion and improved his all round game

Shaun Brisley, who for me is our unsung hero. He's tightened up the defence massively and he's been a rock for us at the back!

Ryan Yates for me.  He has given us a physical presence in midfield and does a great job in the unsung role of stopping the opposition playing.

I could agree with the above on all counts to be honest or add Jorge Grant for his goals and assists , but I'll go for young Ryan Yates as well , gets about the pitch well contributes in every game , got goals as well , great attitude .
