The midfield seems to be settling under Harry Kewell.

I would bring Andy Kellett into the mix, give Nathan Thomas a job to impact the game as a sub and just go for Lewis Alessandra in the middle. Provided Kellett is back but I think any of the players can do a better job now that things have improved.

Put David Vaughan back into the squad if fit and see what his experience can do now that things have improved. He can't take the blame for before, not when people can't see how much Ross Fitzsimons has improved.

Give Will Patching or Tom Crawford a chance.

I doubt this would unbalance the squad that much and I do feel they would thrive playing a team like Macclesfield.
