  1. Winning games from here on is the only way some fans will give Stuart Maynard more time. I think we need it just to see out the season. Most seem to only care when the club's winning, yet show a lack of support when it's needed. It doesn't help all these new fans we have obtained as of late; they are not accustomed to how things tend to be here.
  2. I like the changes, it makes the forum look much neater, and that's a bonus. I don't often comment, but I've always preferred the multiple forum setup here. It organizes things well, on top of all the ways to join in. I think that deserves a comment.
  3. If Notts can play proper football, I would be more than confident. Crewe have a pretty weak side but they do have some good players, their inexperience could be our gain.
  4. Yes @Chris, that worked. I have purchased a ticket now.
  5. If the players don't talk the talk on th pitch, we might aswell accept the worst case scenerio now. A win could have a significant difference on the table but now is the time to act, I fear a draw which simply wouldn't be good enough.
  6. Hello, I am trying to purchase a ticket but I just get an error when I proceed to buy one.
  7. You couldn't make it, another win could make a difference and restore some hope but Notts needs to stop letting us down. Good result to beat Carlisle.
  8. I think it will be a long and slow game, I just wished Notts could kill off home games early. 1-1 draw would be my prediction.
  9. Keep up the good work and grow strong guys/girls.
  10. Yeah, I agree. It's a must win game. With the other teams picking points up, it just makes it harder for Notts. The fight must happen now!
  11. Woeful performance but the game was finished at 2-0, some of the Notts fans turning on the players don't get the word support but the majority continued to back them. I get it, this season is awful but those in question need to take a strong look at themselves.
  12. What's the point in a B team fielding such a strong squad, I though they had to be under 24 or 21?
  13. If Notts avoided playing the ball in the sky and passing themselves into danger, things would be a lot easier but my biggest concern is if we allow Morecambe to score easily. The problem then on will to prevent further leaks at the back.
  14. I feel Notts have looked a comfortable side under Harry Kewell passing the ball along the floor. Even the crosses seem to have improved and Cedric Evina and Enzio Boldwijn do this ever so well. I think the main thing would be to bombard Macclesfield, they don't seem to handle pressure well and if the midfield for us controls the game I do think Notts will win.
  15. All you can do is hope for a win. I think things are looking up but much of the result tomorrow will be down to the chances created and how defensive Notts play, I don't think the balance will quite be there and I am thinking it will be another draw TBH. I hope I am wrong but I just feel we may be dealt with a blow after leading the game, so I would say 2-2.
  16. I don't know about anyone else but I hope to see a good turn around, if Notts don't fight with a new defence I will be worried.
  17. If Stevenage doesn't score 3 or more goals then I will wonder why. I'm not confident and I think the final score will be 2-0 to them, I hope I'm wrong and that Kewell can get the best out of the game. I just feel it's very unlikely but we shall see.
  18. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt over this one, but I hope he quickly realises which players are up for the fight and who are not.
  19. Things will slowly improve, I'm hoping for a draw here but Notts could win if they wanted it enough. They just have to protect the very fragile Fitzsimons.
  20. I would take a draw from a solid performance but I am hopeful for a win.
  21. Yeovil looked like scoring from the slightest break with a little bit of pace behind them. I have lost all faith in Ross Fitzsimons, he's not vocal enough and doesn't bother. The defence is terrible.
  22. Notts came out of the game having played brilliantly against a Championship side, the second half both teams fielded more inexperienced players but it was a good result. I held back from posting yesterday as things on here seem tense. There's no doubt that the first two goals was gifted to them. Dan Jones being at fault for the first two, as he could have prevented both of them. People on here just accept opinions without being abusive.
  23. @Truefootballfan Brisley can do the job but I would have liked to see Hall start. I can't see Duffy being dropped since he's the captain but a sensible formation and tactics to focus on "passing football" is the way forward for me.
  24. He's made his career on being selfish and greedy, good manager but the guy can't help himself. The England job was a dream job for anyone with common sense and he blew it, much like he did when he managed Notts.
