I wished we had of seen Loachy in goal more at Notts, with a good defence he would have earned the number #1 shirt on merit but anywho. Good Luck Scott!

I'm going to assume the end part is hinting at Marc Bola, yes Alan it would be fantastic to get him back but if I am mistaken - any youngster with quality is something I have always encouraged. Yet we do need to be pushing our own a lot more.

This really does provide such a great insight into Tom Savage and of course the connection between us and Juventus. I am proud of the bond we share, I am aware not all are but it makes football that little bit different (in a very special way). I'll eagerly look forward to the next additions. I'll publicly thank @Andy Black for all his effort with writing and helping PON with this.

What's the point if fans don't attend the games? It makes no sense to me. I would say no to B teams all day long, it doesn't help English talent at all - there's no valued argument for it. It makes me quite annoyed.. #OldManMode

The 2016-17 season has been a funny one for me, personal circumstances meant I missed a portion of the Notts County games which took place over late October to mid-January – despite all the on-goings at Meadow Lane and the dire performances I really missed this period. Yet the break was exactly what I needed at the time, but the lengthy spell did leave me feeling drained and worried about my mother. I had been saying throughout the majority of the 2015-16 season that I would get back on the road, whilst I seem to always remember Barnsley as being my last away day – in fact, it wasn’t. My last game prior to Newport was the opening game against Stevenage last term. As the season quickly unwounded, I find myself thinking that I wouldn’t be able to make an away trip this season. For that reason I really wanted to go to Newport despite being told by many opposition fans that it wasn’t ‘a very friendly place to visit’ I decided I would go. After asking JJ to pick me up the ticket, I was quite excited about the prospect of an away day. Sadly, I read some upsetting news on my Facebook feed late Tuesday night which totally flipped my mood but I still decided to go. It was only upon arriving at Monmouth where I actually felt a buzz, it’s a very peaceful location and I took to taking some pictures of the scenery – I will attach some below. Arriving at Newport I quickly got the match day buzz which I missed! After emptying my bag but luckily managing to sneak through security with a thermal bottle with water in (at the time I had forgotten about it), I took to taking some fan pictures. The match started very poorly, I could tell then that the game wouldn’t be one I’d remember for the right reasons. Between snapping further pictures and watching the other stand filled with travelling Notts fans sing amusing songs – I thankfully didn’t fall asleep but I found the first half very boring. Half time was more eventful than I thought it would be, after being asked to take a photo. A Notts fan slipped and his pint was flung straight onto me. After helping the fan up onto his feet, I was quickly asked by another group if I would take their picture but I found the whole event to be funny even if it was at my own expense. I expected the second half to be more lively but I couldn’t be more wrong, it was very similar to the first half in terms of performance. A Notts goal saw us play well for what 10-15 minutes? About the same time Jimmy had on screen in the last episode of ‘Better Call Saul’. I do have to admit, I felt when the chances came that we might actually be able to go ahead. Yet the banter between both sets of fans was funny, it added some much needed entertainment – as I really didn’t see much fight being shown on the pitch. I should also add that I wanted Hartlepool to survive, I enjoyed my two visits to see us play them despite the final results. Neither Newport nor us deserved to win; yet their final goal was class. The away day was enjoyable, yet mostly for the fact we Notts fans know how to have a good time and will make any occasion into something exciting. I’m already looking forward to the new season, I do believe it will be much better than the last three – yet stability will be the key. I would like to take a moment to thank everyone for their amazing friendship and support, since dropping my Notts-Joe username things have been much more positive and I enjoy discussing things with people on both Facebook and Twitter. I'm over Newport already, the squad did well to avoid relegation and looming nearer to the drop. I was pleased that we wasn't in Newport's boat going into the game, so I can forgive the weak performance but the service/pitch can't be used as an excuse. We just need to accept we was poor and move forward.

We really have to play promotion down, take it as it comes. I know some are saying that Alan Hardy wants it, though I believe he will be prepared to see us build properly. If we are to get back to the Championship and overturn the clubs fortunes, then we really need to be level headed. I'm prepared to wait and I think Kevin Nolan is the right man to lead the revolution forward.

It looked very bleak for Notts at one point, I can remember doing a written interview that was published quite late - I spoke about how Notts would finish mid-table but if I was asked at the point of publication I honestly felt we was doomed. Notts just didn't look like a club that could float, however the takeover has delivered a fresh challenge and I think we needed the season in style somewhat. The loans and Nolan have made a massive difference.

We only played well for what like? 10-15 minutes after we scored in the second half??? The whole game was disappointing, first half I nearly fell asleep. Considering our support that travelled, I felt let down by the performance. Their second goal was the icing on the cake, we need better next season. At least it highlights clearly who needs to leave/who to replace.

Painful performance by Notts in the first half, you would think we was still in trouble. Newport aren't doing much better but why do we keep hoofing the bloody ball? We need better to see better in the second half.

He might be a bigger asset next season, as he did come into consistency towards the end and offered us quite a bit in terms of attacking. We'll have to see who extends their stay and who leaves, it's going to be interesting.

There's been fireworks on Meadow Lane quite a few times, even Forest have done displays and many others clubs. I think there should have been a warning, as I heard young children crying and scared - I heard someone shout 'Is it ISIS?' and not in a joking sort of way. However, most seemed to enjoy them and I thought it was pretty harmless. Just needed a warning, as I didn't expect the loud noise and the smoke did make it hard to breathe.

I think his beeper is small and pocket sized, he once shown me it at one of the club events. I don't recall it being yellow, though what we see in the video is probably something a bit more technical since it plugs into the soundboard.
