I do think it's highly likely that Junior Morias wants to play regular football, from his pre-season appearances he might feel that his chances are slim and if there's talk within the club that a new striker is going to be signed - I imagine this would further create the ambition to be playing more frequently. I have always felt he looked a good player, when given a chance he has impressed me. His speed was very quick, which made teams struggle, but we never made the most of his ability. I find it strange how he spent a portion allegedly out injured, when he's had very little injuries and had played a lot for Dagenham & Redbridge upon signing for us. I think the club panicked a little, signed him in hope of having cover going into the playoffs and found that there wasn't the need for him. Certainly with the amount of subs named in the National League it would have been difficult. Yet more opportunity should have come in League Two, I am very disappointed by Notts, but I am glad Morias will finally get his chance to play more regularly. If there's a recall option in his deal, Notts would be best to allow him to remain - bringing back would just be wasteful for his career.

I don't think anyone should write him off; pre-season will be more about him getting to speed with his new teammates. Certainly, 20 minutes isn't enough for a striker to make an impact in a difficult game against a much larger side. Once Langstaff scores, he'll get that knack for finding the net more often. He might not score twenty goals, but I firmly believe he can score a decent amount. It's down to Millwall to be creative enough to get the best out of him.

I told Jack's father when he got his first international cap, that we were proud of him. Callum McGregor also deserves a lot of praise for how he's forged a career. He was heavily linked to Sunderland before they fell down the leagues and wasn't playing for Celtic. I always felt he would have benefitted more from a move to a good English club (not Sunderland). However, he's proven that his ambition and desire to be an important player for the club he supports and loves has paid off. It's been nice seeing their careers; both had incredible talent when they came here on loan.

I'm sick of hearing about why the players feel they didn't do well, or why they are tired. I do believe clubs need to make sure they only play fit players, instead of playing someone who is in need of rest. Issue, most players will still want to play. Some just want to play and if tiredness impacts their performance then excuses are thrown out. There are times I feel we over play Aaron Nemane, his peformances massively dip when he looks knackered and considering how much running he can do in a game. It's only natural, it's just a case of he's very rarely rested - it took his form to dip last season for him to be given the time. I don't think ability shines as much when you are needing a rest, so the fault falls in various ways.

The photographs appear stunning. a time trip back to when life wasn't such a busy headache. It's a shame that this type of class wasn't upheld, as I am sure it could have been a lot more popular than Paris in modern times. I have seen documentaries on YouTube about how rough Buenos Aires is now. Certain parts are very sketchy. And a place to steer clear of.

I hope that Stuart Maynard grows in the role as our head coach and manages to maintain his position for a few seasons, it would give us stability and make sure we are heading in the right direction, but football is a points based business, you have to win games and meet the standards outlined by the club. Personally, I am very thankful for Luke Williams. He's a good coach and I wish him success. If he finds himself without a club and Notts are seeking a new head coach - I wouldn't be against him returning. I would prefer we moved on, no disrespect to Williams. I enjoyed hearing him speak about the players and things in general, but I am more hopeful we can identify people who bring something different. I wasn't very keen on the reaction he gave to the players after we conceded two goals, I think against Forest Green. For me, this was the point where our season started to turn negative and further blows by losing Matt Palmer didn't help, but defensively we weren't as bad as we became after the 'talk' that took place after the final whistle. It's harsh to blame him outright for the defensive issues we have, but it's fair to say he never seemed to have the answer. He got the best out of our players, but lost it after that point from the defence point of view. I would rather see the club look to bring in someone who wouldn't be likely to repeat defensive issues. Good defenders are essential due to the tactical setup implemented by Williams. I just don't think it would make sense to re-hire someone who wasn't able to tighten up the goals we leaked. Perhaps he could see how things were changing, but I do feel we lost confidence from a talk which wasn't needed.

Good to see a youngster, such as Cater Foxe get their first professional deal. I hope it gives him something to strive towards and maintain a passion for the game. It's very easy for some young players to fall out of love with football. You have to use these things to push yourself further.

The Wollaton area is a really nice place to walk, especially Wollaton Park and the woodland area, which you can walk by two reasonably large lakes. I used to have regular walks with my brother around Wollaton. One of the concerns surrounding places like The Arboretum is the presence of students engaging in drug use and other illicit activities, as well as homeless individuals consuming alcohol. I no longer like walking there, as the smell of weed is horrendous. The Forest is a nicer place to walk, since it's very open and less hidden. Most of the places I have walked are locations I stumbled across with my family. The Embankment is a lovely area to walk. You can walk on the other side and bypass the City Ground to a nicer area where you can get lost.

It's a bit strange how we don't report on staff changes, as it is important to keep fans updated and in the loop. I am sure it's due to time and being busy, but these things are always best confirmed by the club itself. I wasn't aware the club needed a kitman, but it's good to see we have one. I also agree that it's nice to fit in people who are Notts within these types of positions. Mark Draper and Tommy Johnson taking part in our training sessions was a laugh. Did Tommy Johnson not scout for us? I know he went on to be a scout for clubs like Blackpool.

Ensuring we can afford the likes of Jodi Jones, would be a good option so that we can offer him a new deal instead of sitting on it. I am not against the idea of some going towards buying player(s) but teams may try to get inflated fees because they know we have money. I think this will make it a task to replace Macaulay Langstaff, as the temptation to ask for x2 more knowing the bidder has money but is also trying to replace a goalscorer - might make them ask for silly amounts, partly in hope of retaining them but also maximising their profit. A training ground would be costly, but there's land for sale. Where the factories used to stand, near to BBC Nottingham and opposite the train lines, has a large amount of land which could be transformed into a decent base to train. I am not sure what the area/street name is called. Most of the old factories have been knocked down, but if it's true that Notts are looking at the Roku site then that would be more ideal as it would involve less work.

Before Roku bought it, I always felt the area would be a great place to have a training ground. I know Notts did partner with Roku to use their facilities, so some people around Notts may be familiar with it. If our owners could make it happen, it would tick a lot of boxes. The issue with fitness centres is they're competing against a trend of newer places offering cheaper prices. So, I am not surprised to see them selling up. It's not that far from the Rushcliffe Arena, which is a very popular leisure centre. It would be a dream to see the Roku site become ours, but I can't see it happening.

Honestly, I don't think we have had a manager longer enough to be really labelled anything more than good. Luke Williams would get my vote, a full season and a half he did a decent job. Taking us back to the English Football League is a major plus for him. It would be nice if we could find ourselves in the position of having managers for a much longer term, but obviously promotions will attract admirers. Nothing can be done about that, but it's sort of the best out of a bad batch. Not all have been terrible, but certainly there's no real competition.

Has anything come of this trouble? I searched Google to find articles about how Morocco players were attacked by Argentina fans. That's disgraceful, something FIFA should look into also, as their fans shouldn't be allowed to travel to the next World Cup in my opinion. Whatever was the right decision with VAR, you don't riot or attack people because you feel the decision is wrong.

The information would most certainly be leaked one way or another, but football finances are made public to a degree anyway. I have no suggestions on how this could be handled. Perhaps, the EFL could look at local companies near to each club but even then, I can see things being largely the same as it is now.

It's an insane fee to be paying, but I have to respect their decision not to move away from their home. I can't say I remember much about their ground struggles, but I know they have had a tough time in recent years due to it. The thing is, if they find somewhere else to play - the ground will only fall further into decay. It might also prove harder for them to get it back in the future. I really hope the problem is resolved, as you can't keep paying that sort of money every season and have a successful team on the pitch.

You learn something every day! I wasn't aware that Tony Cuthbert had played football. I'm off to google him now...

It's nice to see a historic picture of the area largely undeveloped and looking much different to what I am aware of. I too, like Bulwell's train station. It's a shame that the surrounding area lets it down. The bogs park used to be a lot of fun for my kids, but they ruined it by trying to distract teenage idiots. Just a sign of growing older, as I used to like Bulwell a lot.

There will always be good and bad days, good teams will force mistakes and pressure is very difficult to handle when you are at the moment. I do like watching videos of Notts playing back in the day, you can appreciate the players more.

We only have family and close friends over, and these days it's not very often at all. @cheeky~k8 will make sure the house is tidy, but she does this without the prospect of anyone coming over. She just doesn't stop finding things to do, so the house is kept on top of itself. If we had people coming over, we certainly would make sure it was how it should be.

I think Tranmere and Bradford will be two teams capable of making the playoffs, but I can see them struggling be consistent enough. Fleetwood could be an outsider for promotion too, but likely I think they will be upper to mid-table. Strugglers, Grimsby Town and Bromley are two teams I would think would be in danger of relegation. Grimsby could start off well but find themselves struggling nearer the foot. I want Bromley to stay up, but it's going to be a difficult challenge. Here's my predictions. Yesterday, I caught up with much of the season prep and server side stuff that I needed to do. The warmth seems to be making me tired, but it hasn't been as bad as usual. We were thinking of going to visit Super, but I didn't feel up to it. Jake's at my brothers having a sleepover, so we decided that Sunday would be the right time to go see dad. We're preparing to go now, which will be nice. I plan to do more of his garden on Tuesday.

I hope to make all the home games; I think I might miss at least one due to being away, but we'll see. I didn't miss many last seasons, though one or two was due to feeling unwell. Away games, I do hope to make at least half of them. I'm quite reliant on a friend for the travel part, but I really enjoyed getting back on the road last season. It was a huge blessing and the time with him and his partner was nice. We shared plenty of jokes on the trip and at the games. It also has made @super_pie more inclined to come, provided it's no longer than 2 hours there or back. I think 30-34 is doable. I might start a topic where we can record the games we make.

We look a lot more creative going forward, in addition to looking comfortable playing the ball out of the back. It was nice to see Jacob Bedeau put in so much effort to track back. Whilst, his decision to put pressure on the York player wasn't the best from a defensive point of view. The desire to get back has been lacking from the squad in previous seasons, just having someone race back towards you can put pressure on attackers. It would have been better had he stayed on the ball side and avoided any potential shoves. I do give him credit for making that defensive run. York's first goal was a beauty, that was a cracking strike! Their equaliser is typical Notts, our keeper should have covered more of the goal and although it was very direct. He could have got to the ball, but really the defence needs to cope better with those situations. It was very poor, but friendly isn't something to worry about.

Nottinghamshire police are utterly useless, I can't see them doing anything, and they might casually throw out some tweets and mentioning of the incident on their site/newsletters, but it's not anything proactive these days. If the UK police were more efficient, they wouldn't have such a bad rap but suggesting they are understaffed doesn't explain why they don't do anything about some very serious crimes. Knife carrying, muggings/phone theft, stolen bikes. The list continues, even as the results these days seem too much. It really angers me, because not only do we give soft punishments for crime, but we tend to let people off with it. Does anyone else think it's weird how crimes in football tend to result in bans, community service and occasionally prison time? Yet you would be looking at 10% of that effort outside of football.

Good signing for Solihull Moors, I hope John Bostock can help them and have a good run in their team. I do think it's a fantastic signing for them.
