  1. Paul Mace dismissed it tonight on Magpie Circle. Said it was rumours created by 'social media numpties' and had zero credibility.
  2. I'm not sure you'd want to join them would you? Appear like a basket case club. Clueless American owner Incompetent staff Unpopular outspoken manager who criticises staff Fan disillusionment and alienation Squad flirting with relegation Doesn't scream 'exciting project to get on board with'.
  3. Ryan Schofield - that lad has not improved since we had him. As much as a liability then as he is now.
  4. Good performance from Notts. Won despite a thuggish opposition and the ref. Whittaker, Bedau, Bass and Jatta the ones to stick out. The ref is also the one who sent off a NL player after he (the ref) hit the player. Total clown.
  5. Giving a manager the whole January window and then sacking him anyway is tragic. It's hardy-esque.
  6. Jones not back to his best - but certainly a step in the right direction compared to previous outings. Can't wait to have him firing on all cylinders again. Whitaker on his first start was decent. Previously he looked a fair bit of the pace, but in this game he looked more like he belongs. To be expected when going from u21 football to league 2 mid season. Didzy at times is just on another level. To quote their commentary team, 'it seems like David McGoldrick is playing a different game from anybody else on the field'.
  7. It was very predictable what happened to Macca at Millwall. Jumped at the first offer, despite the club not being a good fit. Has his agent to thank for that one.
  8. £1 million, if it gets to that, is a lot of money. Like with Langstaff, pick your club. Plymouth are rooted to the bottom of the championship and look destined for the drop. If we are to win promotion, all likelihood is that we'll be playing in the same league as them next season
  9. Good professional performance. Everybody was at least a 7/10 against a poor Accrington side.
  10. All of them played well today. Any of the back 3 could have got it, went for McDonald who was a squad player at best until recently, now looks like he's been there all along. Solid.
  11. Probably the right decision. Both had their moments and both had a couple of games that demonstrated their ability, but it ultimately wasn't enough. All the best to the pair of them.
  12. All done. Statement from the board makes it clear, he went for the money. That's fine, footballs a short career and all that jazz. It seemed with us he was getting to / in the best form of his career. He's chosen to give that up. Hope it goes OK enough for him at MK Franchise, by that I mean, narrowly missing out on playoffs.
  13. Are they? Not when we played them they weren't, more like one of the worst. Chesterfield and Donny were far better. Granted, MK have lots of cash it seems, but thus far nothing has clicked for them.
  14. Dan Crowley is an excellent player. However, he needs a team that is built around him and the way he likes to play. He can be brilliant one minute and infuriating the next. For sure he will be a miss. However, if he's on his last 6 months and has no intention of staying, then that's fine. I'd be happy for him to stay and push us up into League One then go elsewhere at the top end of L1 or even the Championship, but if the rumours are true and he wants to go to MK Franchise, then his head has gone. Offload him.
  15. Does the signing of Jarvis mean he is leaving? Happy to leave that decision to Maynard and staff, they are the ones that see him daily in training.
  16. Looks very promising, although I don't think I've seen him play before. Hopefully it won't be the usual case of taking 3 months to 'embed him into our system' before we see him.
  17. Until about three weeks ago, I'd have driven him to his next club myself. Something seems to have clicked recently though, not sure if he's finally settled into a system and showing his genuine quality or it is just temporary form.
  18. Never an easier poll. Anybody who doesn't pick Didzy is wrong.
  19. Kyle Cameron forced off 30 minutes into his Barrow debut with a shoulder injury.
  20. COYP. Be interesting to see how serious the injuries to Macari and Ness are/were and if they're in contention. Think it's too early to expect Jodi to be ready to start, expect him to come on around 60-70 minutes mark, depending how the game is going, with a view to starting the next game and being subbed around the 60-70 minute mark.
  21. We started the first half well and were the better side in the early exchanges. Half way through the first half we seem to change tack and engage MK in a battle of 'who can pass it sideways and backwards' the best. Nobody won, least not the fans. Crowd was flat and it was all a bit 'seen this before' at HT. Thankfully the second half was totally different and Notts really got to grips with an ineffective Miltone Keynes. The 2-0 scoreline flattered them a bit, both Didzy and Jatta particularly wasteful. As for former Notts players; Lemon head Evans has never convinced me in or out of a Notts shirt. Nemane is dangerous, but he does little with it.
  22. Jevani Brown joins Notts County on loan | Bristol Rovers FC WWW.BRISTOLROVERS.CO.UK Bristol Rovers can confirm that Jevani Brown has joined Sky Bet League Two side Notts County on loan until the end of the 2024/25 season. "The loan agreement comes with the option of a break in January." If I were Stuart Maynard, I'd be exercising it if we could bring somebody better in.
  23. Swansea currently sit 11th. Without knowing much about their finances/backing etc... that seems decent going for a club that get approximately 15k fans in the Championship and have been flirting with the bottom end of the table in more recent seasons.
  24. I have no idea as to how to answer the question. However, I'm loving their current situation - long may it continue!
  25. Really depressing. We lost because they wanted it more and we didn't.
