I would prefer Ameobi and Forte on rotation with Stead. Forte needs to play over Alessandra or Smith, they just don't work hard enough up front.

Stanley seem to be a more united team these past couple of seasons, I wouldn't be surprised if they beat us 1-0.

Put Hunt in place of Duffy, replace Milsom with Hawkridge and it looks good. Need to save Milsom for the second half when both teams become quiet, I would throw Forte on also and maybe Stead.

We need to be more ambitious than hoping for the playoffs, the automatics is doable if Notts recruit wisely. Don't get me wrong promotion must be the key, though I don't think we should settle for being standard. Alan Hardy has increased the clubs budget by 10% after signing a non league player we released as a youth. Mansfield fans will be laughing at us right now.

I hope we dont come out with relegation talk, even if we win it will be hard to see a club sent down to the conference. I think it will be a nervous game but it wouldn't surprise me if Notts lost or was on the other end of a beating.

Only worthy note from the game @ivansneck. We look unable to create effective chances, all was half and the exception I felt should have gone in was wasted. Not good.

He seems to get more chances than anyone which seems unjust to me. On his day he can be a good player but he does not play to standard we require often enough, him going back to basics just highlights his weaknesses.

I worry heads will sink beyond redemption and that this season will become another long one. If we win Saturday it will help avoid this.

So we have so serial bottlers, did we not know this already before Cooper came? Barnet being so close after Mansfield, I would expect to see much more of a reaction. Mark needs to get the fire inside and remind them that shitty performances will not be accepted. The only way for this to happen is by making examples of those who cost us the goals.

What a shambles! 1-0 up and we end up losing 3-1. The players should do more than watch 90 minutes of games, they should go now.

Its good that he has settled the squad down but after Mansfield, I would hope some dont make it anywhere the starting line up. Give others a chance and see if it pays off.

The game was a write off after they scored so early, I had a feeling that we could be on the end of a whipping. 2-0 down Cooper should have made changes. The formation tweak gave hope but the defending was very poor throughout, lets hope its a relapse but as I said in the PON match report it's a cardinal sin losing 5-0 in a local derby.

Notts have been pushovers on and off the most part of the season. Time to put this right tomorrow and go to Mansfield with the only thought of winning.
