  1. From the training video put out by Notts, he looks a good coup for the club.
  2. The Voice of Notts County, rest in peace Colin.
  3. @Pie since 89 Difference with Cal Roberts, it was speculated and rumoured that the club had opened discussions to extend his deal. Right around the time he was being linked with clubs due to his contract running out at the end of the year. The manager didn't dismiss it either in press conferences, its almost identical to the time fans wanted to see Alan Judge extend his stay and the club released comments about him enjoying his football, that he was focused on that rather than extending. We can only hope that he extends or the club manages to attract a fair bid before his deal expires.
  4. The Football League needs to treat every club like they have done with Derby County this season, the club can't catch a break.
  5. He looks like a player that will improve with more time and once settled, the short loan will make it harder.
  6. I have a good feeling about the game, I think the attendance will be hit with many die hard fans opting to stay at home and watch the game on BT Sports. Nothing wrong with that at all, but if you do stay home please don't use it as an excuse if the club plays poorly/loses/draws. I can't be the only fan who is hoping for a repeat in hammering them?
  7. Peterborough United 2-2 Barnsley Stoke City 1-0 Blackburn Rovers Bolton Wanderers 0-0 Cheltenham Town Plymouth Argyle 0-3 Wigan Athletic Joker Northampton Town 0-1 Leyton Orient Swindon Town 2-1 Harrogate Town Grimsby Town 0-0 Boreham Wood Wrexham 0-1 Bromley
  8. I feel some players are going to be lost on a free transfer, their price being what they achieved or contributed during their times. It would be nice to maximise the amount of money brought back into the club with selling assets which could be reinvested into the playing squad. I am hoping Kyle Wootton isn't one of those who leaves for a free, it would be nice to get something a bit more than just his goals from helping him.
  9. Loving the catalogue idea, it makes it easier for people to look at the whole range and hopefully will pay off for PON.
  10. I am not disappointed, it sounded like a decent performance but I think now highlights that we need to improve in a few crucial areas if we aim to get promoted. Another striker is a must, someone who can finish the chances we create and possibly a winger who can run down the by line taking the opposition on. I like Joel Taylor, but he drifts in and plays deeper. As for the result, yes Notts could've won the match 1-0. I just feel that it gives a base to show where we need to improve away from home.
  11. I like quizzes but I can't stand when people take them to seriously.
  12. I can defend better with my eyes closed.
  13. I am sceptical of seeing Anthony Patterson return this season and I am disappointed that we lost him at a crucial stage of the season, I do think Sam Slocombe will do a fine job.
  14. They did, but when we turned it on they struggled to match us. It's a shame we shut off at the very end, as I think we could've won otherwise.
  15. I agree with this evaluation of the players, if we want to keep him its got to be the top end. Cal Roberts could go for more than £500k, it all depends on this season, how many goals he gets and if he can stay fit. The club has to market the players value based on how important they're to us. Allowing players to leave moderately cheaply has haunted the club in the past.
  16. The first 25th minutes Notts defended very poorly, it clearly put pressure on the midfield as they struggled to get going despite a few brief chances. Rochdale played for the win, we fell short.
  17. I think we can knuckle down and press on from here, I don't think the FA Cup will cause any disruptions. The upcoming fixtures will be a test, but if the club can navigate through them and avoid losing, I think by Christmas we'll be at least 4th or higher.
  18. I'm not bothered, I think if they don't avoid going down it would bring us more motivation to gain promotion.
  19. I think Ray Trew had plans to turn the area into the biggest restaurant in the world, at least I think I remember him saying that. Don't forget about Alan Hardy's plans too, I am not suggest the Danish brothers are adding fluff like our previous owners but sometimes things don't always work out. https://www.nottinghampost.com/news/local-news/plans-flats-hotel-balcony-views-1321262 Does anyone else recall RT mentioning a restaurant at Meadow Lane?
  20. Some of their fans still hold a resentment towards Notts. Rochdale would never have won it, Steve Cotterill surprised us all by improving the form and pushing to the top place. I am pleased we managed to bring them back to Meadow Lane, I hope we can knock them out on our soil.
  21. I can see this being used by many fans Chris, looks ace. Well done!
  22. Finished to perfection! These wallpapers look ace Chris!!
  23. Classy job, @Chris. The wallpapers look ace, they always do.
  24. His decision, let it be his mistake but it could hinder or help Notts out.
  25. I dislike Rochdale ever since the season we won the league, their fans whinging about us cheating to win the league. I would love it if we gave a chance to some of the fringe players and, used the in form squad members then smashed them.
