Who's your Man of the Match v Fleetwood?
Tom Iorpenda had a really strong game. If heโd managed to get on the scoresheet, I think more people would be saying he ran the show. He was involved in a lot of the play and looked confident throughout. The only thing Iโd pick out is how long he sometimes keeps hold of the ball. He tries to beat too many players at times, which can slow things down. That said, his skill is great to watch and when it works, he opens up space and sets up good chances for others. Heโs clearly got talent and a creative spark. With a bit more decision-making, he could become a key player in the middle.

Pride of Nottingham Userbars for Signatures
Go for it, @Ash . The one I use was made by the gaffer. I asked @Chris to make mine, and I think other Pride of Nottingham members might want one too. Donโt worry if not many people reply straight away. Just make a few and show them off. Once people see how they can be changed and made personal, some might ask for their own.

MAGnet Links - Lincoln
Craig Westcarr is another player who has worn the shirt for both sides. Heโs often overlooked, but he was much better than some fans give him credit for. He had a real eye for goal and knew how to find the net. His finishing was sharp, and he made a big impact when he was in form. Growing up, he was one of my favourites. There was something about the way he played that stuck with me, confident, direct, and always willing to have a go.

Martin Paterson Hails Back Line and Second-Half Response at Prenton Park
Iโm not fully convinced Martin Paterson believes no players will leave. We have to deal with what happens, and heโs right to say we shouldnโt get ahead of ourselves. If he can guide the team to more steady performances, we should be fine. That would give us a chance to move up the table. A slow start isnโt always a bad thing if it leads to better form later, but we need to take each match as it comes. Patersonโs interviews are fine, but his long answers sometimes mean fewer questions get asked. It would be good to hear more variety in whatโs covered.

Matthew Dennis and Kellan Gordon Seal Notts Countyโs First Away Win at Tranmere Rovers
A solid result in the end, though the defending was shaky at times. We looked brightest in the first half, but the goal came from what looked like a clear push on Tom Iorpenda. That moment unsettled us, and we didnโt deal with it well. Credit to the team for improving after the break. It was good to see Alassana Jatta back in the starting line-up. Hopefully the injury is behind him now and he can build some momentum. He adds something different up front and looks keen to make an impact. He and Matthew Dennis seem to work well together. Theyโve both got pace, which defenders donโt enjoy facing. If they keep linking up, they could become a real threat.

Who's your Man of the Match v Tranmere?
Iโve gone for Matt Palmer. He was in control from start to finish and kept things ticking nicely. His passing helped set the pace and got us moving forward with purpose. He also worked hard off the ball. I noticed him winning it back plenty of times and doing his bit defensively. He looked sharp in both directions. I watched the full match back on video, so my voteโs based on that. I wasnโt there in person, but Palmer stood out clearly.

Another One Missed
Iโd say itโs more about his wages than his age. He might be seen as too expensive for us. Itโs one of those things where we see other teams doing well after taking a chance on a certain player. They go for it, and sometimes it pays off. Meanwhile, we try to be clever with who we offer bigger wages to. Players like David McGoldrick are seen as worth it, while others arenโt. Then when we are trying to save money, we won't renew their deal with an amount that suites both parties. With Didzy, it was almost like here you go, that's our offer, take it or leave it.

Ollie Norburn urges calm focus as Notts County prepare for tough Tranmere Rovers test
I liked how Ollie answered the questions. He came across really well and seems like one of the most interesting players Iโve heard speak. Heโs thoughtful and honest, which makes him stand out. The video on the official site is a great look into who he is. As a press conference before the Tranmere match, it gives fans something to think about and shows a bit more of his personality. Since coming back from injury, he hasnโt looked too bad at all. You can tell heโs working his way back to full fitness and starting to get up to speed again.

Welcome to PON SoccerLord
Hello, welcome to the Pride of Notitngham @SoccerLord. If I occasionally refer to you as FootballLord or just lord, it's only because I tend to say it instead of soccer. You will fit in and make PON your home if you get familiar with the site. All the best.

When automatic sub titling goes wrong
Hahaโฆ Year of the Whores, celebrated worldwide! ๐๐๐ Youโve got to switch the subtitles on during the Notts interviews. Alassana Jatta becomes Alister Gatta. Brilliant.

No More Mixed Messages
I do think the club should be open and honest when they can. Iโm not saying they need to put out statements all the time, but they should make sure fans arenโt being misled. There was a time when players would be punished for faking injuries, now it feels like they and their agents hold all the power. The situation with Alassana Jatta seems pretty straightforward. He doesnโt look injured to me. When I broke my leg, I couldnโt wait to kick a ball again. I havenโt played properly since, but Iโve had a kickabout. I canโt imagine missing five games, only for a sore back to stop me from putting last seasonโs red card behind me, especially with transfer talk flying around.

Match Discussion: League Two - Tranmere Rovers (A)
Tranmere are one of those sides you can never quite predict. They look decent on paper but often play poorly. You think weโll walk all over them, and then they make us fight just to scrape a point. Thereโs no guarantee weโll start well or even look convincing enough to deserve anything, especially with all the changes going on. Iโd love to think we could win, or at least nick a draw, but I believe Rovers will give us more trouble than weโll give them. Still, Iโm hoping Conor Grant, Jodi Jones, Matt Palmer and the rest step up, because weโve got a squad that can give the travelling fans something to cheer about.

Weekly Chat - Monday 25th to Sunday 31st August
I appreciate the concern, mate. I'm still finding my feet, literally but Iโll feel more like myself soon. Itโs all new to me, and most of my focus is on finding the right job. Iโll be back watching Notts away before long, so no need to worry about that.

Match Discussion: League Two - Shrewsbury Town (A)
It was a good response after the Barrow game, and a solid win at Meadow Lane. Thereโs still plenty we can improve on. Performances from Notts have often been like this, either a strong first half or a better second. Yesterday felt more balanced, with a good spell across most of the match. I think the passing will get sharper with more games and training. Iโm not too worried, but weโll need to raise our level against stronger or better organised teams. No offence to Shrewsbury Town, but they were poor. They had a few decent moments, but their defending was all over the place.

Who's your Man of the Match v Shrewsbury?
I voted for Nick Tsaroulla. I always make sure to think about my choice and vote before reading what others have said. It speaks volumes that heโs picked up so many votes and positive comments. It also shows heโs put in the work during his time out, keeping fit and staying ready to step back in.

The Challenge We Face
The Reedtz brothers seem to be thinking long-term. Our coaching team is already bigger than most in League Two, just like it was in the National League. That means more wages, but I think itโs a good sign. Theyโre also working on the infrastructure now, which should help us stay on track when we do go up. I see it as a chance to build and invest early, rather than fall behind by only focusing on the pitch and signings. A balanced approach should lead to more steady success. If we donโt have the right setup, weโll end up stuck between spending on players or improving the clubโs facilities to boost its reputation and quality. Doing both at League One level might work, but I canโt see it being enough in the Championship if we only invest in the squad.

Weekly Chat - Monday 18th to Sunday 24th August
I donโt mind the weather at the moment. Itโs much cooler than those heatwaves we had, and now and then the sun does show itself. I applied for a new job today. My last one let me go after I went over their limit for time off. Iโm not too fussed, work is work, and I just want to get back into a normal routine. I feel a lot better mentally, though I still have days where I question things.

Ryley Reynolds returns to Kidderminster
I wish Riley Reynolds all the best with his loan move. He should be able to build on last season and really push on from here. I donโt mind that heโs going back to Kidderminster. They clearly rate him and are helping us out by giving him some first team experience. As for the club possibly selling him, I donโt think itโs very likely. I believe Reynolds and James Sanderson are both being prepared for the first team, as long as weโve got a head coach whoโs willing to give them a chance.

Changes to NewPie group: Among other things...
I wouldnโt change anything myself, but I think itโs great that you can. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain it. The popup message isnโt as annoying as the one on the official site. Itโs a good way to make sure people read important content. With how many members have seen it by now, I thought more would have interacted with it. Hopefully lots of people will like having control over how the content on PON is displayed.
