Ryley Reynolds returns to Kidderminster
Best of luck to Riley Reynolds while he’s out on loan again. I do wish the club could find more chances for the younger players a bit quicker. Riley must have made a good impression at Kidderminster.

Game 2: Match Discussion, The Ammies (H)
I think we’ll win, but Salford City are always a tough side and I expect a close game. It’ll be interesting to see how Jorge Grant gets on. As long as he doesn’t come back to haunt us, I think we’ll be alright. I prefer the look of our squad on paper.

Notts Injury Watch 2025/26
I do wonder how long some of them will be out. I agree, the club could be better at keeping us informed. When there are this many injuries, it makes sense to give updates. If it’s just one player, you don’t mind waiting a bit longer. But not everyone should have to wait until the media ask about it.

Roberto Gagliardi: Notts County Moving in the Right Direction After Busy Summer
This is a really reassuring read. Gagliardi speaks with clarity and realism, which is something fans need to hear after a big summer of change. He’s not trying to oversell anything, just lays out the facts and gives insight into how decisions have been made. It’s good to know the club didn’t rush the appointment of Paterson and instead focused on the right fit. Also appreciate the focus on data, physicality and versatility, exactly what we were missing last season. Hopefully, the new recruits gel quickly.

OS Squad Page Update
@menzinho, the photos are cropped and edited to look like passport-style pictures. The original photos showed the upper body, so most of the shirt is visible. Each person had several pictures taken, with different poses. There are about five photos of each. The club would usually choose one where the person is standing straight, with the badge clearly shown. They just prefer to use head shots.

Jodi Jones in the AMC Role
Jodi Jones has shown plenty of brilliance on the wings, but a move to the centre could be transformative for his career. The additional space and the more protected position might give him the confidence to really express himself on the field. It's a more risky position, with greater demands in handling the ball under pressure and making split-second decisions. However, the potential rewards are greater as well. Being central means more opportunities to impact the game by threading through passes or taking shots from distance. If he can adapt effectively, this could make him a central figure in the squad's strategy. Let's give him some time to adjust and see how he thrives in this new role.

Season Ticket Sales
Season ticket sales nearing 6200 is fantastic news for Notts. It's a clear indicator of the loyalty and enthusiasm within our fanbase. This not only helps financially but also brings an electric atmosphere to Meadow Lane. Fans play a pivotal role in the club's journey, and their support boosts the players' spirits. Knowing that thousands are turning up week after week to back the team instils a sense of pride and responsibility amongst the squad. This is a community-driven club, and these sales figures are a testament to that fact. Let’s continue to support and drive the club forward together, making every game memorable with our extraordinary fan presence.

All Quiet on the Transfer Front
It feels like a clear sign that none of the trialists have stood out enough to earn a deal. You’d think the best ones would’ve been signed already, especially with the season coming up quickly. I’m still hoping the club announces at least one new signing before the Cardiff match. It would give fans a boost and show things are moving in the right direction. Replacing Alex Bass is important. We need someone solid in goal, and sooner rather than later, so we’re not going into the season with uncertainty at the back.

Connie Francis. RIP
Connie Francis was a talented singer who faced many challenges with strength. Her music touched hearts, and she’ll be remembered fondly. Rest in peace.

Weekly Chat - Monday 14th to Sunday 20th July
It’s been a slow and peaceful Wednesday so far, which is a welcome change after how busy things have been lately. I keep checking to see if Notts have announced any new signings, but things look like they’re settling down ahead of League Two. I’m hoping there’s something good on telly later. It’s strange how people don’t seem to talk about live TV as much these days. With the way today’s ticking along nicely, it’ll be a treat to sit back with a beer and enjoy a quiet moment, not feeling like you’re roasting away in the heat.

Notts County secure Manchester United defender Sonny Aljofree on season-long loan
Always nice to see a player come in with a bit of family history in the game too, think it gives them that bit of extra grounding. Hasney was a decent pro back in the day, so Sonny will have grown up around the right habits. United fans seem to rate him highly and if he does well here it’s a win-win. Just hope we can give him enough minutes to really kick on. Great that the club are being proactive early instead of waiting around.

Standing with Kimbo: A Magpie's Bravest Fight Yet
I didn’t know Kim personally, but reading this made me wish I had. Her dedication to Notts goes far beyond what most fans do, I can’t imagine how hard it must be to face what she is now, but she’s doing it with grace and courage. If anyone deserves a bit of joy and help ticking off their bucket list, it’s her. Hope she gets everything she wishes for.

Jatta Ain't Going To Germany
If Jatta had gone to Germany, it might’ve sparked more talk about him leaving. In football, there’s always gossip around players, and sometimes staying behind can cause even more questions. Supporters need to take a step back and not jump to conclusions. The way the club is run, and which players come or go, isn’t something fans can control. Decisions are made behind the scenes, and we often don't know the full story. The focus should stay on the matches in Germany. They’re important and shouldn’t be distracted by speculation. Whatever kept Jatta from travelling is something we’ll just have to accept.

Soundtracks of Your Life
Life comes with ups and downs, laughter and sadness. Through it all, there's one song that always lifts my spirits, Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World.” At times life feels bleak, but that song somehow makes it all seem better. When it plays, the dark moments fade. You can’t help but feel lighter. It’s a song that never gets old. A true classic that people will keep listening to for years to come. And when Louis gently says, “And I think to myself…” it fills me with warmth. It reminds me of the good times, and I feel grateful.

Alfreton Town v Notts County
It was a good workout for both sides. Alfreton Town are always a tough test. I was happy to see Paterson name what looked like a strong starting eleven. I was actually expecting a more experimental line-up, so that was a nice surprise. Both our sides gave a good showing, and Alfreton weren’t far off scoring a couple of times themselves.

New signing Barry Cotter
He seems like a good signing. I like that he’s direct and has a bit of pace. Him wanting to take players on is something we don’t see enough, only Jodi Jones and Will Jarvis really offer that kind of threat. Kellan Gordon doesn’t look confident running with the ball, though he does deliver a great cross. I’d like to see more of Nick Tsaroulla in the starting line-up. There’s definitely space to switch it up and try a few in central attacking roles, not just out wide.

Trouble at Morecambe FC again
I’m not fully convinced the sale will go as smoothly as the recent news suggests. These same buyers have shown interest before, so I wouldn’t be shocked if things drag on a bit. Still, I really hope it goes through.
