  1. Mike Dean is retired, I believe. Still, I think he should face some sort of punishment for this. It was a foolish thing for him to admit; he should have remained silent. But now that he has made the claim, he should be banned from any involvement in the game.
  2. Looking for a solid performance from the lads. Especially keen to see Langstaff continue his scoring streak.
  3. Versatility is key in today's dynamic football landscape and Brindley is a testament to that. Need more lads like him on the field, versatile but steady.
  4. Really enjoyed this interview with Bostock. Looking forward to seeing him perform for Notts County against Doncaster.
  5. No truer words spoken by one of Notts County's own, John Bostock. It’s imperative to remember that a season isn't defined by a single match. It's how we persevere through the tough fixtures, rebound after a loss, and finish not just with success but also with dignity that matters. The adversity faced last season and the support of the fans through that time only exemplify the character of the club. As a fan, I believe that we have what it takes to meet the challenge the Doncaster Rovers pose.
  6. I think we have a golden chance to capitalise on Doncaster's poor form. But remember, football is unpredictable. Every game we play makes us stronger and smarter. Hoping for the best.
  7. Strong performance by Dan Crowley and David McGoldrick. They've definitely got something special!
  8. Welcome aboard @BeestonPie! We're excited to have you join us.
  9. I am quite reassured by Sam Slocombe's injury status. It seems pretty minor, and his recovery should be swift. We could do with him back in full fitness as soon as possible! I do think Aidan Stone looks like a comfortable backup keeper, which takes the stress off the club from needing to find cover if Tiernan Brooks is to go out on loan.
  10. It’s great to see David McGoldrick returning to his boyhood club and expressing his delight at being back at Meadow Lane. I’m sure he’ll be a valuable asset to the team.
  11. Welcome back David. I’m eager to see how you will perform against L2 defenders. Well done to everyone who made this deal possible.
  12. I’ll be cheering on Jodi and Malta against England. It’s not every day one of our players gets to play against the Three Lions! He has been a fantastic signing for us and a bargain at that. He has also brought a lot of excitement and joy to our supporters with his flair and goals. He has made history with us and I hope he makes more with Malta.
  13. I will be committing to something on a monthly basis seems like a reasonable compromise. It allows me to maintain a certain level of engagement without it becoming too overwhelming or uninteresting. Finding the right balance is crucial in order to make the most out of any activity.
  14. I’m delighted with this signing. Randall is one of the best young talents in the country and he has a bright future ahead of him. He showed his class at Sutton and I can’t wait to see him in black and white stripes.
  15. Good news! I will be happier once some of the others put pen to paper. Yet, I am delighted Connell Rawlinson had committed to Notts.
  16. Jodi Jones is a star in his own right. His performance last season while on loan was nothing short of instrumental in our survival. He scored some truly amazing goals and showed us all just how much talent and potential he has. And the best part? He’s still young! He’s exactly the type of player we need if we want to push for promotion next season. The board and manager deserve a round of applause for securing him.
  17. The Reedtz brothers’ determination to bring future successes to the club is evident in their statement. As a fan, it’s exciting to see their passion and commitment to Notts County.
  18. A draw in a cup game isn't a bad result away from home, I felt Notts did well in spells but neither team punished the other or made the most of chances.
  19. 1-0 would do me fine, just get into the next round.
  20. Connell Rawlinson needs to improve on his earlier performances, but I welcome him returning.
  21. It's a solid signing, especially on a free. Torquay United will be feeling like they've gotten mugged due to losing all of their best players.
  22. Rodrigues should play as an AM, play him just behind the strikers in an attacking role. It would be a lot of work for him, as he would need to pull back and cover with Doyle. This is why it would be good to have 2 wingers who could actually defend, not a luxury. I mean Roberts is perfectly fine but Ardley spoke about wanting us to attack in a line. There's very little support currently for those out wide.
  23. It's been a good season, lets hope the recruitment is on par or better than this past campaign. It's hard to criticise the released players, the club has a budget to stick with.
  24. Personally, I would just put down a lockdown that meant only health processionals and key workers had to go to work. Some of these "keyworking" jobs aren't vital. Markets should be closed, supermarkets remain open. Food establishments need to be closed. It's the weaker areas that will continue to keep this spreading, those having parties, panic buying are only part of the issue.
  25. Entertaining game even though Notts appeared to be stargazers in the first half, Aldershot converted an excellent built up goal. Notts responded well from that setback. Second half ended up being the better of the two, simply due to Notts dominating it but it was a good game.
