  1. It’s great to see Matt Dennis doing well. He looks like a strong striker and moves around the pitch with purpose. He’s good at keeping hold of the ball, a bit like Alassana Jatta, but Dennis has that extra ability to drive forward while Jatta tends to hold play up. It’s a proud moment for the club and for Dennis to be named League Two Player of the Month.
  2. Starting with a balanced approach makes sense. Notts will need to settle into the game and show they can stay strong at the back. If chances are limited, it might be a tough match, but both sides have good players. In the end, it could come down to who wants it more and which team has someone who can step up and make the difference.
  3. Notts have become much better at finding goal scorers since the Reedtz brothers took charge. It’s been a long time since we’ve had this kind of success in recruitment, probably not since the 90s. It’s brilliant to see a young and hungry 23-year-old who wants to prove himself at a club that suits the way he plays. He looks like a good fit for the team and the way we approach games. Hearing Matt Dennis speak about why he chose to sign for us was a nice touch. It shows he’s thought about it properly and sees the value in being here. We should make sure he knows how much fans appreciate him. A proper chant would go a long way in showing support and helping him feel part of the club.
  4. It’s a good idea to have a few games in central Europe. It gives fans and players a chance to bond and brings something different. But the first two matches didn’t offer much of a challenge, and that took the edge off the trip. I’ve always liked a more competitive set of friendlies, with most of them played at home. It helps build momentum and gives fans something to look forward to. I also hope we skip Alfreton next year. It feels like we’ve played them five seasons in a row now, and it’s probably time for a change.
  5. The club needs to do more to avoid mistakes like this, especially with signings who only stay for a season before being let go. It’s happening too often. It makes Notts look like things aren’t quite working together. Everyone should be pulling in the same direction, and these short-term moves don’t help. It’s also a waste of time and money. With a bit more planning and foresight, we could avoid these situations and build something more stable.
  6. Occurrences like this make me despair about people's thoughts. I believe our time in the non-league has influenced some fans negatively, but we should strive to treat others well. If they can't, stewards should intervene.
  7. The problem with the academy is precisely demonstrated by Robbie. You have to obtain the information from other sources, and it only makes it to the main Notts pages when they win against a strong team.
  8. I have a sense that Notts acted quickly to make this happen, but was held up by the managerial change. Jaden Warner seems to have a promising future. He needs to stand up to less skilled footballers who will try to bully him, but everything about the move makes sense. I wish him well during his time here.
  9. I can't contain the excitement for the new season! Great analysis of Notts County's opening matches.
  10. This announcement is brilliant. Nemane's growth as a player has been remarkable to watch.
  11. Andy Kellett should never have been pushed out of the side, when he came back into the squad he looked good in midfield and often changed the games. Pierce Bird and Tom Crawford are also two players I want to see given a chance.
